My wismec has arrived!!! Woohoo!!! For those of you curious about the 3 free batteries from vapenw, I got LG HE4s!! Which is great because that’s the type I have and use

Hey @daath, have you tried the .25 SS crown coils in this by chance? I had it working in TC mode straight out of the box and it was ok for a bit and then it wasn’t lol
I got the ohms too high error, so I just switched it back to VW.
Keep in mind I got the package at work and I haven’t even done my homework on this thing, nor am I at home with the escribe software. I’m just curious if I will be able to use them in TC mode at all (and I don’t have the patience to wait until I get home for the answer)

Mine only worked on tc mode with TI and nickel.

I hear the Crown coils work with the 304 (I think) SS CSV…

I had it working and didn’t even know it! I actually thought I was in wattage mode because that’s all I can do at work right now but it wasn’t until 20 minutes later that I realized I wasn’t…the slightly burnt coil was my first sign 
I still have all my Ni coils, I just really don’t want to use them…
Oh well I’ll figure it out when I get home…I guess…hehe

It won’t work properly with SS or TI until you connect it with Escribe and import the CSV’s for the wire types. Once you have those profiles entered it will work like a champ. I haven’t had even 1 hiccup in TC and I’ve tested all non resistance wires. It’s perfect.

What about the resistance of a .25 stainless steel coil? Is that too high for TC to read properly?

No I believe that’s fine. You just need to import the SS CSV so it will be working with the proper TCoR for SS wire.

Did they still honor the 20% off Thanksgiving sale? I know that it ended on Monday but maybe they were nice and extended it for you?
No extension. I tried the code. 
Still a great price for that device though. I’m not complaining.
And 3 cheap batts for some boot and $16 bucks for a Velocity clone…
