DNA40 Ni200 Builds

I don’t have to look into a gypsy’s crystal ball, as I’m vaping on my DNA40 built with Ni200, to say, temperature controlling/limiting devices are the wave of the future in vaping. I am truly stunned with the enjoyment of vaping with a Ni200 build. The taste/flavor of the juice has never been as intense, deep, true and satisfying using kanthal or nichrome.

My first build on a Goliath using Ni200 knocked me out. Dual 28ga. 10 wrap coils ,reading .11ohms, 450dg at 26 watts…and just, wow! Now I just need more DNA devices!

I don’t know if it’s my builds with Ni200 or the fact that I’m spoiled on claptons, but I’m not really impressed with my Vapor Flask v3. For me it’s to limiting with only 1 type of wire for the temp control. I must say that I do enjoy my kanthal and stainless steel builds more. Everything I build with Ni200 is too low resistance unless it just a regular coil. I don’t know if some people think that twisted wire or Claptons are a gimmick or just cosmetics, but these wires simply out perform the regular coil builds hands down. The only regular coil that I’ve seen that even come close to it is titanium. I’m just one man and this is my view.

I went from this 11 wrap 32g Ni200 @ .12 ohms.

To this 25g 316L core 36g kanthal wrap @ .3 ohms.

The flavor and vapor is so different between the two that it taste like extra flavor was added to the juice.

I’ve not experienced twisted wire builds as of yet. I might give it a go this week, since I will be on a little bit of a hiatus from the theatre and have some time on my hands. With such a good teacher as @NewDrip, we should all give it a try! Perhaps I will recant my views on Ni200.

Just don’t twist any Ni200, you’ll never get it above .1 ohms.
