A little “chef tip”, brown your bones in a hot oven before cooking them, really adds richness and a great depth of flavor!

My dog has been Raw fed for six years now. There’s a group on Facebook called raw, feeding advice and support. It is the raw Bible.

Cooking the food takes the nutritional value out of it, it’s never Supposed to be cooked.

Thanks for the advice, only I 1000% would not start a 10 year old Bernese on a raw diet. I know there are “raw food” die hards and those that don’t feel it necessary. If it works for your dog, that’s amazing! Thank you!

I had my dog on raw but she’s older now and is missing some teeth so chewing is difficult. I have to cook it to soften it up and sometimes run it thru the food processor. She gags otherwise.
