I have a Drone silver and ultem (I’m one of the weird ones that like ultem). Yes, the door kind of pops at the corner by the squonk bottle occasionally. Not really irritating to me. That being said, if I had it to do over, I would get the Dual Topside instead. I have three single batteryTopsides and absolutely love them. All three have a single coil Recurve on them. The Drone shares space with the few dual coil rdas that I have. Now, if they come out with a dual 21700 Topside, I’ll be all over that! I don’t care how tall it is. It can’t be any bigger than the Drone. I love the ease of filling the Topsides.

Right… cleaned the new bottle with alcohole, vinegar and then dsih soap and water and multiple rounds in the usc so I’m pretty sure that’s as clean as I can get it.
The other bottle is getting the same treatment although I’ve had it cleaned before.
There seems to be a bit of the funny taste stuck in the cotton but it’s getting better. Maybe I’ll have to re-wick but is seems to be improving. Have you had any problems with taste on your topsides?

Well, I’ll give it a couple of days to see how it goes. If I have to rewick I can start without the squonk bottle and just drip it to see if the funny taste starts with liquid from the silicone bottles.

Not here either, but all I’ve used is the opaque (“clear”) silicone bottles. Makes me wonder if the second bottle (that came with them, in their own packaging) is clear or dark… I just assumed they were clear as well.

The bottle fitted in the mod when I got it was the ‘dark’ one. I swapped it immediately just because I didn’t think I’d be able to see the juice level as well. so I never tried it.

Yeah that would be me as well. I can’t understand why they would make anything that inhibits the viewing of the liquid level… But that’s just me. chuckles

Hmmm, mine is the dark one, been just cleaning and refilling it, assumed they both were the same. 2nd one is still in the box (somewhere) gonna have to check into that!

I’m all over the place lol, anywhere from 20-90 watts on regulated devices depending on my atty, and between 0.2-0.7 ohm on mech mods, why?

I have a drone the doors don’t pop off. The lil clip on one side opens half a millimetre the leaking issues are a simple fix 5screws to open and literally tighten the nut on the 510-squonk assembly took me all of 5mins. You look hard enough you’ll find one for £65…so even if it all went to shit you got a dna250c board

I’ve been using mine for over a year with the Wotofo Faris, I’m so happy with the duo, I haven’t used anything else since.
That’s a shame, I saw it was out of stock everywhere.
