Ella's Flavorings c/o High Desert Vapes

So, I was looking at High Desert Vapes for the first time and saw Ella’s flavorings. I’m guessing they do the same thing as Ecigexpress with TPA flavors; rebottle and call it Signature. HDV does this with Capella? Has anyone has good/bad experience with this vendor or it’s flavorings?

I have ordered a couple of times and they ship pretty fast and had no problems with the product. They had a yogurt that I was having a hard time finding. I think their Ella’s is probaby TPA or CAP. . I will buy from them again, but will probably check BCV first. Cant hardly beat those guys price or service.

That’s a first, from what I’ve heard in the forum. You might want to pass that around in another section to clue in cherry lovers you’ve found a good vendor flavor for cherry. I’m thinking the “Ella’s” is actually “capellas”. They get it in super large quantities and rebottle it with their own label.

Do these places do this because they want to sell it in smaller/different size bottles than the original comes in? I’ve always wondered why ECX calls TPA flavorings “Signature.”

@JoJo They buy in very large bulk containers at a discounted price and repackage them for retail st a profit. For example: 1 gal of TFA Cherry extract from TFA is $85, they can get 30 / 4oz. bottles from that gallon and sell them for $7.50 each for a gross of $225. They may clear $100 profit or a little more after repackaging and labeling.
@JimK that is the Cherry flavor that I have, after reviewing my ordes I found that I had gotten it from another vendor PerfectVape.
You can get it directly from TPA cheaper though, $6.50/ 4 oz.

Cherry Extract Flavor**
A rich cherry flavor, like a sweet hard cherry candy. Good for adding a bright cherry note to all sorts of applications!

I get that, I just didn’t know why they don’t sell them as what they are. Why change the name?

I have no clue. I guess to make it more matketable for them.

I figured it must be something to do with not being allowed to sell a name brand repackaged in another bottle, but now that I think about it, other than Capella, the flavors I’ve gotten have all been repackaged with a different label. So I still don’t have a clue either. Lol

That crossed my mind too. Maybe CAP charges a royalty for putting their name on the label. Or it could be a liability issue.
