How does one get muted if you once weren’t? First time hearing of this.

I really wish i knew the answer to that. I know a few others that this happened to also. It def leads me to believe its not like a genetic thing and can be fixed. At one time my famous str8berry cake recipe was my ADV and cap sweet strawberry a top 5 flavor for me. Now i get nothing but a little red weirdness from it and cant even vape it. I dont know how it happened. I remember starting off pretty much a mute but then one day it just kicked in fully and i can taste it perfectly for a few years. Then when i went back to vaping im a full mute again. I can taste real strawberries just not the flavoring

Very true. Iv always had the thought maybe its just a ph thing. I wanted to try eating stuff that can change the ph while testing but im too scared. With my guymt issues i dont want to eat anything that can make my gut worse

Have you tried FA SB Forest Mountain?? I think thats whats its called its so good and so red . It may be the best Single Flavor Strawberry i have ever tried…

Yup i tried so many. It seems the more red the less i can taste. The ones i can taste the most are the pink ones like strawberry milks , pink burst , wow etc

Me too, that Strawnana Custard kinda killed SB for me for a long long time, we vaped so much of that shit. Getting back into SB’s recently though.

LOL! I’m guessing that you & Ken & Rocky all agree on what makes the perfect strawberry flavor in a vape. I’ve tried maybe a dozen of the top mixers’ versions of a sb and had a rough time with all of their combinations. It’s such a subjective flavor. I’ve bought 16 different sb’s. Tossed out 12 of them after one try over the years. I have only 4 now where I can actually taste sb. I’d say I’m about 75% sb blind for an eliquid. No dirt, no green, no white parts…just a sb. For some others it might work fine. But the 3 of you might think it’s nothing like a good sb at all. So, it’s a roll of the dice. The outline of the contest is terrific though. Lots of freedom to put it together. Thanks a bunch guys!

I think I may be ready for another twirl. I did a SB for the Daytime Frank Show and I was surprised that I kind of liked it. Meaning that I thought it turned out good for someone wanting SB. I didn’t mix more for myself, though.

I wonder what all SB concentrates have in common that are obviously not in real SB? If you taste the real thing can you taste a concentrate made from natural flavoring?

Not too many left. Almost all are synthetic and PG based. If it’s either VG or alcohol based it’s natural. I for one am not concerned with the Strawberry and working more on the cake. Strawberry’s are a dime a dozen.

Haha, I’ll have to agree because I have no problem tasting any of them. I’ll just have to choose which ones taste best for me in a cake. Cake, now that’s the challenge. Not so much as flavoring for me but texture. The reason I love cake so much is the airy, fluffy yet graininess in contrast to it’s creamy fillings and frostings (or ice creams if you like cake bits in your ice cream, and boy do I! No buts about it, I’d rather eat cake than vape it.

Since I’m already talking about the flavors and thinking what I would use, I guess I have one foot in or at least a big toe. At the very least, I noticed that during the last contest my mind was occupied by something other than life’s vicissitudes…and that’s a good thing.

Its always a roll of the dice…These contests are a roll of the dice. The only things that consistent with thes contest is that not everyone is gonna be happy .
