No it’s very different from Glamour Chocolate. It’s more of a cocoa bean/dark chocolate flavor. It’s best with creams to give it more of a syrupy taste.

How do you get it to play nice in a recipe? I’ve tried pairing it with Bavarian cream, VBIC, Vanilla custard, Cream Fresh, and various cookie and cakey things. I just always get the taste of like cooking chocolate or something. Very dry, very raw.

I guess I just never thought it had dry texture because I mainly used in some type of creamy recipe.
But the actual flavor of it was just the best chocolate to me.

Yeah I’m not sure how to describe what I mean but I’m referring to flavour more than feel. Maybe just different palates?

Actually I had heard about how really good JF Omega Choc was for a couple years now. I never got it because I thought it would be just another disappointing chocolate I would toss out. I finally grabbed a bottle when JF had a weekend sale on One Shots and was completely surprised how fine it was. No bitterness, dryness, weird aftertaste.

OK, I think I know what you mean. There is sort of a cocoa powder thing going on there, I think. I used it around 2 - 3% in creamy dairy type recipes. It’s been a long time ago, but I liked using it with some VTA Chocolate Mousse. I remember resorting to making small 30ml bottles at a time so the intensity would hang in there at least 2 to 3 weeks. I still have a couple bottles and might go back to doing that just for myself because I liked it so much. 
And, yeah you’re right…there’s all different palates.

Yes it’s that powdered dry cocoa kinda taste. Like Chocolate your cheap relatives would get you at Easter 
Hmmm I’ve only played with he Glamour Chocolate above 3% and below 2% looking back at my recipes. I’ve also paired it with some heavy flavours like honey and nuts.
Maybe I’ve missed the 2-3% sweet spot or maybe I just need to put it in something a bit more simple…

Glamour chocolate is good if you vape it quick. If it’s in a liquid that sits for a month + it turns into straight cardboard. I used glamour chocolate in my kinder bueno recipe contest recipe. It was fantastic, until it sat.

Ohhhhhhh. I’ve just checked my notes and I’ve never tested it without a steep. I use all DAAP free stuff so I just steep everything for minimum 2 weeks. That’s an interesting bit of advice, thanks Bob.
