"Exclude flavor names from search" function

I really don’t understand what the function “Exclude flavor names from search” means and am unable to find any info regarding it. Can someone please explain what it does?

if you type in strawberry & check exclude flavour names it will give you all the recipes with Strawberry in the title - if you uncheck exclude flavour names it will give you all the recipes that have Strawberry in the title + all the recipes that have a strawberry flavour in them
