A friend on Twitter shared with me today that there is a new company that will be shipping vaping products. I haven’t been able to verify the validity of this company yet, and their website supposedly won’t come up until Feb 21st. So take it with a grain of salt until we know who is behind this and if they are indeed a legitimate company. So sharing with you here and like I said I have NO idea if this is fact or fiction https://www.facebook.com/vapefreight
it won’t be an actual company, with their own trucks and all. that would take 100 million just to get started.
but, as i said before. vape stores could have their supplies shipped on pallets.
this may even end up being cheaper than usps, ups, etc, depending on who they are getting from and if they can go to the dock to get the pallet.
Very encouraging @authormichellehughes, and thanks a lot for sharing it. Now we need to get a company who will hit the end user as well !!!
Very nice.
This is what capitalism does so damn well, it fulfills needs.
They won’t be able to advertise on FB in the near future.
Thanks for sharing. Maybe we will still be able to get Nic!
SD is this a real company or did you make that?
Why don’t WE start a company? Ok, the more I think about it the more “impossible” it seems.
that’s an issue for sure.
I’m gonna think on this…
I took that from @authormichellehughes original posted FB link. Still not a lot of info out there on them, but if true, is encouraging.
I would think this would only be a B2B type of service , alot of States have Distribution for the Brick and Mortar already and they will LTL shipments with the local shippers … Personally im stocking up on everything I refuse to go back to Vape Shops and spend 100$ on a piece of shit Smok product thats only worth 30$ if not less…
Yeah. That’s the key in a nutshell right there!
Are the remaining vape shops going to approach it from the standpoint of “we have a fighting chance to build a list of returning clientele by providing competitive prices”, or are they going to approach it from the standpoint of “hey Bubba, we got us some fish in a barrel!” (captive audience) and try to return to the 2014-2016 “fleecing mode” (which won’t last long, and they can go die in a fire.)
amen
Yep
I get annoyed with the 10 character thing that pops up
I can envision the brink and mortar vape shops banding together, incorporating as big vape to pool resources(insurance, lawyers, investments, lobbyists, public advocates). Form boards and Tiger Teams. Secure and/or create supply chains. Move shops from high rent or poor location. Improve tools of trade(POS, databases, etc.) Close some, open others, consolidate in locations with too many formerly competing shops.
More stuff like that. “Vapetopia”
Yeah, silly. I should get more sleep. … Vape-Mart, Vape Depot, Vape-Hut
The guy that runs this is the one that ran the National Vape Expo… this will be B2B according to him but they are planning (again according to him) to hopefully add B2C later on. Michael Wittenberg is his name if anyone knows him here.
Yeah, I hit up my vape shop guy and asked if he would stock liquid nicotine for mixers, and he says I don’t know yet. So I’m going to get a little pissy right now… this may be perfect for brick and mortar vape shops because they want us buying their over priced crap… for those of us that DIY, we’re really getting screwed with this and of course online shops because it will put them out of business
