I don’t really get much tangerine, it’s mainly a blood orange/champagne cream. I also don’t get any harshness, I vape this right after a shake and it’s a very stable juice while steeping.
Noooo! Omg, poor guy. I’ve been calling him a her all over the place. I was sure I knew who the mixer was, but I obviously got confused. Sorry, Folkart! Wherever u be!
@anon28032772 That Blood Orange recipe looks amazing! I’m not much of a straight fruit vaper… either I can barely taste em (strawberry) or they’re nuclear harsh at any % (peach)… hoping a blend like that will work for me. Looks so refreshing!
It’s not a straight fruit, it’s got lots of cream and champagne in it too. I’ve done it both with FA and FW Blood Orange (double the % for FW) and it’s IMO a bit better with FW but they’re both very close.
Don’t be put off by Fidalgo it’s not a harsh juice. If you don’t trust it, let it sit for a week, maybe 2 and it’s smooth as a baby’s behind. These blood oranges are bold flavors so don’t worry, you’ll taste them. It really tastes just like the picture and if you like it cool, just add a little koolada, ws-23, polar blast or your favorite cooling agent.
You could sub tangerine flv, orange shisha inw, or just two drops of orange fa.
You could also ditch the em and add 0.75 marshmallow fa.
Im gonna have to go back and SFT sweet tang … I swear it was harsh lol
It can be fresh or used over 2%.
I make that one a lot too, great recipe!
This is one of my favourite recipes but sadly I cannot find the original recipe or the creator anywhere but luckily I have a screenshot of it. This is fantastic in a MTL device and was the first large batch of juice that I ever made. I hope you like it.
@BathVaper I have a question for you re: UK Blend Cornish Cream Tea… I’m finally ready to try @TinMan’s fave, Vanana Cream Tea. I needed a few flavors, which finally arrived.
You mentioned that FA published the recipe for Cornish Cream Tea (for us not in the UK) as: (https://www.flavourart.co.uk/recipes.html):
CREAM 35%
STRAWBERRY 35%
COOKIE 30%
Is the ‘Cream’ aspect you mentioned FA Cream Fresh? If not, would that work as a sub? My only FA Cream options are Marshmallow, Meringue, Fresh Cream or Vienna Cream.
Thanks for the link and recipe(s)!!!
Some real gems in there from the looks of it!!
Oh that one was all @BathVaper. I was quoting that original post, rather poorly. lol
and aha! When I checked the actual recipe page, it IS Cream Fresh.
Ya and there is a nice read at the bottom of the page… The way this person mixes seems to be how RF mixed some of their flavors … Mixing this way would be a big adjustment for me…Would that recipe be
3.5pct
3.5pct
3pct
??? How do you reverse that to the percentges we are use to using ?
It is mixing for the stone - after mixing you would sf test as you would normally with a flavour
I think more like :
If you want to use at 5% total, 1.75%, 1.75% and 1.5%
If you want more, maybe at 6% total flavor, 2.1%, 2.1% and 1.8%
CMIIW
Yes, as long as you are mixing for a 10ml target of stone.
As woftam said, it’s the numbers from ‘a stone POV’, just like RF shared…
The base percentages do not change.
The “numbers change” occurs in 2 situations…
-
the amount of stone (finished base flavor) you’re making [10ml of stone = 3.5ml flavor A, 3.5ml flavor B, 3ml of flavor C]. The same ratio is kept for a 30ml bottle, but the numbers change [30ml of stone = 10.5ml flavor A, 10.5ml flavor B, 9ml of flavor C]. You’re making 3 times as much stone, so you triple the base numbers.
-
the amount of stone you need/prefer in the final mix [everything is normal from here, as you’re treating it like a ‘finished flavor’. Just add 3%/5%/etc of your stone to your preferred VG/PG/nic ratio as you would any other single flavor.]
@anon28032772 I finally got the Blood Orange FW and Champagne to make the Blood Orange Sorbet! Mixing it up now.
And @TinMan I didn’t end up mixing Vanana Cream Tea because I realized I was sitting on like 6 oz of strawberry blends and was running low on bottles. lol But I’ll mix it up asap when I’ve vaped thru some of my mixed up berry stock. Looking forward to it!
That Blood Orange Sorbet is really good! I’ve made it several times in the last year or so.
totally agree
