The “Stone series” doesn’t seem to be drawing as much interest as we had hoped, we may change it to just recipes (or mixer’s choice of Base or Recipe)…

I thought there would be a lot of entries this month, but I’m surprised there isn’t. It’s harder to create a good base. It’s a good idea to do recipes and stones together, more people will enter.

I like just making recipes. If I use a certain 2 or 3 flavors in it that make up a good base/stone combo of a single note, it kind of becomes self-apparent anyway, right? And, we can always call attention to it as well.

What’s missing isn’t more recipes - ELR already has over 150k recipes. Seeing another list of ingredients doesn’t really help anyone. The goal should be more discussion about the recipes (and flavors). That’s what makes us better mixers
Don’t just say “this is what I did” - say “this is why I did it”. Why did you choose ThisFlavor when you could have used ThatFlavor? What does this flavor and that flavor do in the recipe? How can I swap out “FruitA” with “FruitB” and expect it to taste as good?

That is what the forum is for. The mix a long is to have mixers create new recipes and have fun , bring mixers from different platforms together…People should add these type of things to their notes.

We can go back to the wheel like we did in 2025…Finish this month off and we can spin again. Having new recipes with newer flavors is always nice to see.
