Fig (FW) help needed

I’ve just used Fig (FW) for the first time (in Vapenstein Tripoli Clone).

Straight from the bottle the Fig stinks; a bit like Acetyl Pyrazine / phenol.

Can anyone tell me if this is right?

Flavors don’t always smell the way they vape, BUT, maybe you have another one to put on this list: http://forum.e-liquid-recipes.com/t/flavours-with-a-subjective-unwanted-side-flavour

I’ve never tried fig, so I can’t tell what it’s supposed to be like. Here are a very few notes that aren’t too helpful: http://e-liquid-recipes.com/flavor/9470

ECF has this: https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/threads/flavor-west-diy-flavor-review.408639/page-52#post-16545439

Most people are relatively positive about it, but taste is very subjective. But seriously, vape it and see how it is. Try it in very low % to start with because it seems to be potent.

Thanks for the great links @Jake31.

I can’t see any mention of fig having a vile smell; I’ll have a closer look later. Meantime I made the juice and it has been “resting” for a few hours with the cap off. Initially it was really rank but now seems to have quietened down a bit.

I think I saw @Josephine_van_Rijn recommend Vapenstein Tripoli Clone? If so Josephine, did you find anything untoward with FW Fig please?
