Hi all, i have vaped Vape Breakfast fisherman’s wharf like 7 years ago and couldnt find it anywhere since. Its a creamy strawberry banana salt water taffy. Its sour, creamy, main accent is strawberry but a nice mellow banana along with it. its pretty much a sour

Has anyone tried it or do we have similar tested recipes?

Wow, it sounds good, but I’ve never heard of that juice.
@nithint1093 I don’t typically use or mix with taffy flavors, and most of the ones I’ve tested haven’t really taffy’d much.

I just saw this. I agree with @SessionDrummer Idk of any really good Taffy base or flavors. I think WF Taffy (Peanut Butter) is pretty good but you don’t want PB in your mix. There’s not much ingredients that go into Taffy making, it’s the texture that makes it what it is and you’re not going to get texture in eliquid, only the “idea of it.” I wouldn’t worry about the Taffy part so much, just get the SB, Banana and the sour down first.

I haven’t but it sounds like it’s worth a try. In my maRY4 jane recipe I use Milk and Honey (FLV) with the Taffy (Peanut butter) (SC) (WF) because, for me, it seems to add to the candy profile I’m looking for. Now that you mentioned FW I might just buy some and see what it can do.

Do i need to change TPA Strawberry to CAP sweet strawberry? Any other change or % seems too odd or high?
I would go back to your AI program and ask it if it thinks that recipe will be muted by the amount of Ethyl Maltol?
The TPA strawberry contains it, and I’m pretty sure the marshmallow does too. I would personally assume that there is too much EM in this recipe, but I have also never used that much. So maybe it’s ok? Hopefully someone with more experience than me can chime in.
Yes it was mentioned, hence the option to use cap sweet strawberry which have less EM. what do you think of that approach?
Also what if i reduce EM and add CAP SS. Will that be a better option?
I am a complete noob in practice of DIY, so please bear with me. I have mixed recipes from Mixers before, but that is also limited experience.
Also while using Claude to do the recipe, i had it read flavor testing notes in the forum and specifically using concentrates from the era the fishermans wharf was available
Sounds like you are going about it all the right way. Like I said, I don’t have much experience myself but my gut instinct looking at that recipe was that it was probably going to have a lot of Ethyl Maltol.
