It’s hard to say exactly. They all have flavors I find necessary. You can combine flavors and most of us do, but there’s no hard and fast rule. The best thing to do is just to look at certain flavors usage, rating, affinity, and notes on ELR and use that as a guide. There’s some good info on that sort of thing here:

So many times we get a newbie request to help rescue a wayward recipe. Most of the time the problem boils down to vendors flavor choice and usage percentage. We are hoping this proactive approach will give the newbies a resource to make better flavor purchases and the ability to see usage percentages and how others pair the flavors in recipes.
