Flavorah Black Cherry

Has any body tried the Black cherry from Flavorah.
I’ve tried most of the other venders cherry and black cherry but nothing is tripping my trigger. My wife loves black cherry that I make now, but I dont think it’s that good.

I have. Black cherry is tough. I did a 3% single flavor; I gave it 3 stars and this was what I wrote in my notes: 1 week - very much a cough drop. Hoping it steeps out. 19 days - surprisingly, reminds me of eating frozen black cherries with my dad. Still a little weak. 1 month and it kinda tastes like plastic.

So used in a mix at 2% and vaped around 2 weeks it might be good…? I haven’t really used it much in any kind of recipe so it’d be tough to say how it’d play with others.

I like the FLV Black Cherry fairly well. I use it at 1% with pipe type tobaccos; add a nice deep cherry note. At that %, I did not find it medicinal tasting.

@Josephine_van_Rijn has three or four recipes employing this flavor.

Question about the company flavorah. Is that the company that has a leaf on front of bottle? I just started DIY. I have made 2 flavors so far and I’m loving this. My other question is, how is this company? I tryed some flavors I ordered undiluted and wow it was like spicy.

I 2nd Jim I mean @Kinnikinnick I like the Bing Cherry by FLV it is great !

I find Flavorah’s concentrates to be on the strong side which I think is good so less is used and the bottle lasts longer. Also, IMO I think when less concentrate is needed to achieve a desired result then the liquid always turns out better and is smoother. At least in my DIY liquids this is what I have observed for my tastes.

Good to know guys. Thank you for info. I only bought 3 flavores threw e bay, because I have a good amount of $ in my Paypal. They ended up giving me like, 9 flavors. Was cool of them. Not home at the moment but when I get a chance I will post the flavors I received to see if anyone ever tried them. Thx again

Anyone ever use lemon grass from flavorah? Really funky smell

Got one mixed now, as a StandAlone…Looking forward to vaping that…couple more days…along with a number of others…Lemon Tea…Lemonade…Chai Thai…Gingersnap…and more…If you got Wild Melon, mix that one ASAP…a very special vape…steep/vapes well in 4 days…great taste

Holy cow funny you say that. I did order wild melon. You mix that alone? And I also have strawberry. Any ide how that is? I also have candy roll. I have others that I can’t remember right now. Wish I was home to see them

Yeah, I am mixing all my Flavorahs as StandAlone to get a feel for how they perform and their characteristics for blending…I am mixing for Mouth To Lung hitting… I vape on Clearomizers (small coil/wick surface area)…and my Goblin Mini…(Nice RTA)…I mix at 40/60 PG/VG at around 10 to 12 mg Nicotine…My starting Flavor percentage is 8%…Other people who are Sub-Ohming/Dripping mix at lower %s…The Wild Melon is excellent as a StandAlone…I do have Candy Roll, and find that it is not intended as a StandAlone flavor …More of a blender, especially with fruits…See Flavorahs’ website for a description of that…These flavors do well with a shorter steep time…and I am finding that they peak at around 7-10 days…Wild Melon definitely works well at 4 days as I mentioned before, and some of the other ones do as well…but they do change quickly…For that reason, I mix fairly small batches…I am testing most of my StandAlones at about 5 days, as even the WildMelon got sweeter over a 24 hour period from the time I first vaped it at 4 days…Creams/Custards I am giving a little more time and will prolly give Multiflavor recipes a bit more time as well…

Ok cool. I just started dig. Tried one flavor which was max dew. I’m a lung hitter. And use the 200 watt fuchsia. Have 3 smoke tanks but I also use a couple kangertech sub tanks with .2 coils. Just can’t beat the flavor from smok but boy they suck up allot of juice. But I will try flavorah. Thanks for the tip

Judging from your vape equipment, I would imagine that you will be lower in flavor percentage than my higher flavor %s…Check out DarthVapor recipes and percentages…He has extensive experience with Flavorahs’ stuff…and he’s a great guy…
