What’s up vapefam!
SirRisc here with another juicy review!
On todays menu is a company proving that juice doesn’t always have to be a mix of artificial flavors made to be realistic.
Flavourlab are using something entirely different, organically extracted flavorings they make themselves.
And boy oh boy, this is different indeed!
Premise.

Flavourlab is a relative newcomer to the market, but they’re far from new in the vaping industry.
Langertony45, one of resident hangarounds on ecr_eu and one of two owners of Flavourlab, has been with us from the start and has proven time and time again that he is a master with flavors.
Flavourlab uses a process called “supercritical fluid extraction” to get its flavors, which in essence means that they use real ingredients to get their flavorings.
The process is not easy but it seems to be worth the effort because the flavors are very natural and they don’t contain any of the leftover sugars or chemical byproducts the usual artificial flavorings carry.
In basic terms what they do is extract the flavors from real ingredients like strawberries, raspberries, or vanilla pods in the same way coffee gets decaffeinated.
They separate what they need from the ingredient from the rest of the ingredient using CO2 (carbon dioxide) and applying extremely high pressure to it.
Now I’m far from anything like a scientist and I’m probably still a tad oblivious about the entire process, but I urge you to read up on it if you’re interested.
This article on supercritical fluid extraction and this one on supercritical carbon dioxide should give you a rough idea on how it all works.

Moving away from the process they use, but keeping it in the back of our heads, you need to know one thing before you try these liquids: they’re different from all the rest.
Flavourlab claims to be Germany’s finest and they have every right to make that claim. The flavor in these juices is so goddamn smooth it’ll make you wonder why other companies are using artificial flavors.
With that said you’d expect there to be a catch but there isn’t. There’s no extreme price tag attached, there’s no weird side effect, no health concern. It’s just good juice for a fair price.

30PG 70VG, 3mg/ml Nicotine
Description on the website:
Sweet, creamy vanilla!
My review:
Scent: A subtle aroma of cream entwined with a very slight vanilla
Color: A light amber pink
Taste: Velvet is an elusive juice which is light on flavor and feels very smooth to the throat.
The cream base is subtle and works its way through the inhale ever so slightly.
The vanilla is there but doesn’t overpower anything like most vanilla juices would, instead it’s just there as an accent flavor to round off the cream.
There’s also no discernable throathit to this juice, it’s smooth as… velvet. Something cloudchasers will definitely appreciate!
Personally I would like a little more flavor in this one because I like a somewhat stronger vanilla, I’m sure others may disagree though.

Description on the website:
Sweet, juicy strawberries with creamy vanilla!
My review:
Scent: A very juicy strawberry, mixed with a subtle cream
Color: A light amber pink
Taste: Mister S is one of my favorites out of the four, but not just because it has strawberries in it.
I mean I love my strawberry juices. That’s why I keep vaping Strawberry Custards, but this one is different.
First of all it’s not a custard, it’s creamy but the cream is subtle and doesn’t get in the way of the strawberry flavor.
That’s where this juice shines, the strawberry flavor. I’ve tried so many strawberry flavors over the passed couple of months that I’m starting to become an expert in them.
This one is different from all the rest because it feels more natural than all the rest.
It’s as if they stepped outside, picked a couple of juicy red strawberries and then crammed them into the bottle.
Again there’s no discernable throathit to the juice and it feels as smooth as it can be. I want more of this!

Description on the website:
The counterpart of Mister S, but someone swapped the strawberries for raspberries!
My review:
Scent: An almost sour cream with a subtle layer of raspberries
Color: A light amber pink
Taste: While I do appreciate raspberries in food and some juices, I never really found a proper raspberry juice.
One that tasted natural and not overly sweet, most of them just felt like eating a raspberry candy and disappointed me in the end.
Mister C doesn’t disappoint, at all. It’s not overly sweet, it doesn’t taste like candy, it’s just a subtle and natural tasting raspberry cream.
Despite the cream being dominant in the scent of the juice, it’s very subtle in the taste.
The raspberries linger on the tongue and taste moreish.
As with Velvet and Mister S there’s no real throathit to this juice, making it extremely nice to vape.

Description on the website:
An alluring blend of berries!
My review:
Scent: An almost tropical blend of berries and cream
Color: A light yellow
Taste: I’ll admit it, I kept the best for last. That’s my opinion at least.
While the description may be a tad minimal, the flavor definitely isn’t minimal.
Sweet notes of raspberry, cranberry and strawberry is what makes up the flavor in this one, I think.
It’s soft and yet slightly zesty but doesn’t overpower your tastebuds with sugar like most berry blends do.
The scent of this juice gives the impression of having creamy notes to it, but the flavor doesn’t feel like a cream base.
As with the others, the throathit is almost non-existant and that’s a good thing. It means you can enjoy the flavor that much more.
If I had to pick one juice from the entire line up to use as an ADV, it would be this one.

Flavourlab.de opens their shop with only 4 flavors to choose from but don’t let that scare you.
They’re more than worth the money and they are all an experience you won’t forget easily.
The flavor from these juices is an entirely different class from what you’ve vaped before and I hope other vendors will take notice of the way this company works.
Despite being such excellent juices, there’s no sign of any “premium” tags.
The labels are simple and easy to read, the bottles are perfect and the price is certainly right.
In closing I’d like to thank Langertony45 for sending me the Flavourlab range for review. Keep up the good work, man!
As always thank you all for reading, I hope my reviews help you choose the right juice for you!
On a more personal note: if you go to the Flavourlab website and look at the productphotos, you’ll notice they’re now using my photos. I couldn’t be more proud of that little titbit!
I’m always looking for more opportunities to review, so get in touch if you want me to review something from you! Juice, RTA, RDA, mods… it’s all welcome and I’m sure we can work something out!
