That’s similar to what I’ve experienced with the Raspberry. As a standalone it is 100% wet dog. Mixed with other fruits in the Sparkle Berry recipe I make it’s fantastic. So weird.

I think it’s due to the chemical compounds all at differing percentages in the various flavors interacting with each other and altering each other and thusly, our perception of their overall smell or “taste”. Which, is lucky for us considering most of these off flavors listed r very accurate descriptions and aren’t just subjective nuances but r a reality for any mixer. Some have a key to unlock their potential I believe, while others r just hopeless and have clearly been named wrong!

Spot on!! I love using the raspberry as a back up fruit but will not use it as the main attraction!!!
