Erythritol in PG will leave you with that exact same thing…
It is not sediment, it is because of the high % of sugar alcohol in PG, does not happen if diluted in water.
Apologies for the label, not sure what happened with the warehouse there, though will check. Unless it has happened in transport.
You will need to shake it every time you wish to use it. Just the nature of the best with some sugar alcohols.
No, as Stevia will leave a very metallic taste if used about 0.5%
I’ll have to go to the shop and get a Bubble O’Bill now. Smells like neapolitan ice cream from the bottle. Mixed it last night and just refilled the tank, seems fairly accurate from memory.
One impressive thing I notice already is that bubble gum on the tail, just enough and separated from the ice cream.
I took a punt with percentages and mixed a couple of the strawberries with both cheesecakes, haven’t tested that one yet…soon as I rewick but it smells good.
Out of the 4 I got I would have to say Sweet Strawberry is my noses pick this morning, however I didn’t use it in that mix.
Now for Rum & Raisin…
Popcorn (FLAVRZ) 8% (5-16-23) – Wow, I had a great time testing this one, and it was hard to put down. I HAD expected maybe a heavy/heavier AP note, or Los Fritos, BUT, neither were present. Score !!! What I did get, was a very nice, slightly light freshly popped popcorn, that had some pretty good butter notes. Sweetness was almost at mid-level, which was unexpected, as it was not a “Kettle Corn” flavor, BUT, it wasn’t that distracting. It was freshly popped through and through, but was not a heavy overall flavor. No face-smashing AP, no drooling butter, but a more refined, almost more “pleasant” popcorn. Before I knew it, the 3 testers were done, which is testament to how good it was. Because it was somewhat sweeter, it would be HELLA easy to push into a Caramel Corn, or a Kettle Corn. The corn notes were fairly natural, and accurate, and stayed fresh tasting to the last tank, with zero bitterness or burnt notes. Strangely enough, I had the urge to mix up a Popcorn Custard while testing this one !!! All in, it was a very good, freshly popped popcorn, with good butter notes, and mid level sweetness, that didn’t get overly “corny”. About the only nitpick would be the slight relaxed nature of it, and not the profile(s). Minor take-offs for that, and at 8% it was pretty good as a solo. Easily a 9.1/10.
@SessionDrummer The angry face is because i just placed an order and now have to place another one to get Mulberry, Peacharine and now Popcorn, oh and probably bubblegum as I love the wild west ! Didn’t I politely ask that you notify me of any flavors I “might” like before I place any orders and yes, you are supposed to read my mind damn it!
If you like Mulberry, also look at the Mulberry Sorbet. I don’t have it but the Mulberry Mess is ok though I couldn’t find that one on the site for some reason…
@SessionDrummer will this be another I’ll like? Maybe I should hold off on next order until you are done testing all these flavors… but then again, I’m an instant gratification kind of guy! Arrghh what do I do?!
I’m waiting myself… Then buying anything that has grabbed my eye. So far its about 15/18 flavors! Ha
I’m very close to catching a flight to Australia and tracking down @Jetz and his little shop too! Sad part is once I find the shop, I won’t be able to afford flying back or walking back for that matter… at least I’ll have all the flavors I want
I finally got around to trying your Key Lime Pie tonight after a 2 week steep. I was waiting until I needed a coil change so I tried it just now with a new coil. It is delicious and I truly hope someday you will make your recipes public, but I understand why you don’t. Thank you for your recipe and for recommending FA Key Lime as a VTA Key Lime sub.
Mulberry Mess is a commercial juice and Flavour Shot - Mulberry Sorbet is the ONE SHOT for it.
The IT Team will be adding a number of new FLAVOUR SHOTS this week.
That would be cheating
We try and layer our ONE SHOTs and Flavour Shot where we can. Be sure to check out Dave an Aussie reviewer. I think he has Wild West on his tubes.
If you push Popcorn aka Blue Fairy Floss high in % like it is used here - at around 14% you will get this flavour.
Note you can totally change the flavour by adding a TFA style Sweetener aka 5% ethyl maltol and 5% sucralose. It will be totally different if you use a super sweet aka 20% sucralose in dilution.
A little tip here most flavour houses add 10% of the volume of distilled water to the pg base to make dispersion easier and quicker.
I wouldn’t bother as it’s possible the government will take you to the town square, put you in stocks and you’ll be pelted with rotten vegetables for being one of those ‘nasty vapers’
Hey mate, have you tried anything at a higher percentage than SD has yet? Am curious as to how they travel. I mixed the farmhouse custard at around 11% but haven’t had a chance to try it yet…
