I remember how this got in the mix…it smelt phenomenal and I couldn’t resist adding some, thinking it probably wasn’t needed.
Perfectly described what I’m tasting and worded the imbalances better than I could ever dreamt it.
I think I confused myself a bit trying to use things higher, when I posted the recipe here I noticed the same.
Awesome help, thank you, much appreciated.
I don’t think I knew either, just throwing shit at a wall and seeing what stuck. Therefore the balance issues and a muddled mess. Although it told me enough see the potential in these flavours.
By the way the Redskin is spot on. I spent a little too long in the dunny at work today
Oh, I will be very interested in how swapping these turns out for you mate.
I added 4% of the Cheesecake 2 to a presteeped custard mix I had (Inw Cust and Cap VCV1) and even with that it was hella strong for me. A bit like I over used Inw Biscuit and FA Cookie in a mix. Had to tone it down with more custard (only tried it as a test so had more custard to use).
I would suggest that you read the flavour notes of the two cheesecakes that @Sessiondrummer has kindly done. I personally add 4:1 - Cheesecake to Cheescake 2 flavourings for a more of a NY Cheesecake base and filling. Cap VC1 is full of Vanillin 10%, Ethyl Maltol 5%, Pentedione 5% a buttering agent and Ethyl Vanillin @5% approx. Vanillin in both formats will push the “base” notes of the Cheesecake 2 and tend to bend this flavouring as Ethyl Maltol will do with any over use on flavourings. I would most likely say @marsh8 that may be the issue in the mix as the Inw should not have any effect.
Hope that makes some sense.
I will, I mixed it as suggested by @Jetz, off the knuckle I can already tell the shift in balance. Even though the first mix was heavy handed on the biscuit it wasn’t bad.
No my teeth were thankful too they can’t handle them anymore.
Give it overnight and you should be able to test vape it. Though it is a cream base and with our flavour concentrates (FLAVRZ) they are 99% at flavour profiles after 48-72 hours.
Though if you would like to short cut … you can for NO LONGER than 5-8 sec 9 (for a 100-120ml), just enough to slightly warm the VG. It will speed up the migration of the flavour profiles into the base. Pg is easy it is the bond in the VG that needs to be excited. If you have a 30ml then I would say a couple of seconds max.
Have fun and glad it shifted to where you wanted it.
PS forgot to mention - love the MONKEY MAGIC pic for your profile, good old 80s on the ABC, with Monkey, The Goodies, The Young Ones and The Big Gig!
Monkey caused a few injuries in our household, there were 4 of us so 2 on 2. Only rule no hitting in the head.
I notice Eat the Rainbow is listed twice on the site. I assume it’s more caramel, Can it be turned into a Banana Paddlepop? I also noticed Banana Custard one shot which I suppose is also pretty close.
I’m going to do some Flavrz mixing this weekend. Hopefully tomorrow but if not definitely Sunday. Famous last words I know but nothing other than perceived time constraints should stop me.
I’ve decided to go @17% across the board apart from Musk Candy which I’m doing @8%.
Could be too low going from @Jetz recommendations but I’ll soon find out. I won’t do all that I’ve got but probably about half or thereabouts.
Skippy is by far the best peanut butter around. Its hard in the uk to get a good pb. M&s here is the closest to a creamy pb you can get. But now and then ill get some skippy as there is nothing better
Did you get any oneshots in your order? They are 25 to 30%. I got a couple and though I mixed the first one wrong (way too low but used it all) I have mixed another at 30% and will test in a couple of days.
