Yeah buddy!
I remember tooling around in the grandparents’ Executive RV back in the 70’s. While it was an absolute blast (as a “worry free” child), I still remember my grandfather complaining about how much it cost to run that behemoth. lol
And that was back when gas was averaging around 69-75¢ a gallon IIRC!!! I couldn’t even imagine these days…
I can’t imagine what it would take to “relocate” a houseboat… But I know I’d be either: in the Gulf, or off the east coast somewhere. Even the largest lake in the US, and I’d get bored with the same scenery. chuckles
Knowing my luck, I’d end up on a tree limb with a paddle haha!!
row row I go…
Definitely east coast…
That’s awesome. And exactly what hubby and I are doing when he retires in 5 years. We got our house paid off this year…woooo hooooo!
In 5 years we are selling it, and buying a nice motorhome with the proceeds. We plan on traveling and going wherever whenever we want, Stay here or there a while or just a day, see as much as we can. And drive home and stay in RV park whenever we are missing the kids and grands. We love to travel and learn, and we decided on our retirement about 3 years ago.
Congratulations!!! I am happy for you both!!
And thank you on the reminder, I should probably start downsizing now. We are very careful about anything we buy now, first thought is always do we need it and will we have room for it.
