I’m am trying to mix a twinkie recipe which calls for Fresh Cream and of course I don’t have any, is there something else I can use that is a good substitute like . Vanilla whipped cream, marsh mallow, or meringue??
( the recipe already calls for Vanilla Custard)

For me, fresh cream has very little sweetness (if any), it’s like a neutral heavy cream. What creams have you got?

Super Sweet - 0.75%
I have:
Marshmallow
Sweet cream
Meringue

Whipped Cream TFA is a plain cream that has no added flavor that would work just fine. Meringue certainly has it’s own creaminess but it has a flavor to it as well same goes for Cap’s vanilla whipped cream. TFA’s would be an equal trade off.

Do you have the Bav cream and FW yellow cake…and those other ones in the recipe and you’re just looking for a sub for the fresh cream , then yes the van. whipped would be fine.

what about the cake and custard. The 3 most important to this recipe I would say would be the custard, the cake and the Bav cream everything else is really just icing…lol couldn’t help myself.

Vanilla swirl would be fine too , to sub out fresh cream.
