so i have my vg and pg in squeezy bottles like this apart from mine have caps on the top of them
And i have some sweet chilli sauce that makes the fridge smell like it
is this going to taint the vg and pg?
i have sealed vg and pg that im not worried about
just curious if it has ruined the vg and pg
I could be wrong but I don’t think you need to store the pg/vg in the fridge. Especially if you’re worried about it getting tainted. I’ve always left mine in my “mixing tote” at room temp and never had a problem. The only thing I keep cold is my nic in brown amber bottles in the freezer.
yea i put them in there because we had hot weather here for a month and rooms was 27c
OK @stickynigel this is where Form Function, and Convenience come into play.
Squishy bottles, by nature can be permeable. I don’t mean you’ll see drops of VG or PG literally on the bottles, but they can and will allow “things” to pass through the barrier. Harder PET bottles will not, BUT, they’re a pain to work with.
It IS possible if you have LDPE, maybe even HDPE bottles, that over time, a super stinky fridge could impart some of that stink into the PG/VG, but depends on how stinky LOL.
If you’re really concerned, and feel you must keep your PG/VG in the fridge, get a medium, medium-large box of Arm and Hammer (whatever brand you can get) Baking Soda, and either cut off the top of the box, or open it. It will absorb most of the stinkies in the fridge. Cheap way to get peace of mind.
they are LDPE bottles its stamped on the bottom with the famous made in china haha but i have used the vg and pg and will just not put it back in the fridge
my fridge just smells of that sweet chilli sauce haha but after leaving the vg and pg out the fridge to warm up abit before i start mixing as i always do i could not smell the sweet chilli anymore i tried the vg on my finger and it just tasted slightly sweet
It’s probably better to keep them out of the fridge so you don’t get condensation form inside the bottle every time you take it out to warm up before mixing.
Don’t worry they are out the fridge and sweet chilli free 
Brother I live in Queensland and I’ve never bothered to refrigerate VG/PG. Haven’t noticed any changes apart from viscosity in 5 years.

Lol. Because I’m new to mixing this is my first winter and I couldn’t believe how much thicker the VG gets when temps get below 15°C.
I think this is why I stored it in the fridge then left it out for abit to make it easier to pour into 100ml mixes but learnt my lesson now lol
Makes my thumbs hurt thinking about squeezing VG out of a bottle at fridge temp
I buy nicotine with VG base and store the large bottle in the freezer. It takes about 10 minutes to pour 20 mils into a smaller bottle. I’m buying Pg based next time even though it’s a little more expensive but easier to pour.
