I’ve heard good things about that mod so I wouldn’t say it’s a bad choice at all.

For $60-100 you can get a great mod. Here is one that I know about and use. Only thing about it is the width. A 25mm atty has a touch of over hang but it’s not terrible.

Love this mod and it will do TC with any type wire. The next step up would be a DNA200 but they will run $130-150.

I’ll agree until my Hohm Wrecker G2 comes back from warranty. If what I’ve heard is true then the FSK chip may be the new deal for me.

never looked into the hohm wrecker, but love my dna mods, just got the Therion 167 with the Reload rda. awesome combo.

I had to send it in. Hohm Tech (so far) has been no BS about the warranty process. They did try to help me first too. Just to recap if you don’t know - when I received the mod I went directly to the update process. It bricked during this process. What they said was to take out the batteries, and while holding down the +/- button, attach to my computer. This was supposed to force it into “Link” mode. It was unresponsive. So they told me it was very unusual and to return it. I hope they send one that’s already updated whether it’s the one I sent back or a new one. So anxious to give this mod a go.

Even if they don;t, by the sounds of it. The chances of getting 2 that won’t upgrade are astronomical.

I’m ordering one of these guys too. They just look like they have worked on the chipset really hard. I assume it’s their chipset that FSK. Well if it’s not it looked like they picked a really nice board. Super excited. It’ll just take a while to get it over to OZ. It’s funny I hate waiting for stuff to arrive over here as it varies so much 3 days to 4 weeks or even longer. But once it’s arrived I get let down as now nothing is due to arrive. Anticipation is awesome, and I have a good feeling these Hohm wrecker G2 will not disappoint. Totally not Forum related. Sorry.

Vt133s with a dna200 board are $100 shipped, fyi.

That said, I’m really loving the Whiterose PWM mod. It has me reconsidering dnas. Side by side with the same atty, juice, and power the NLPWM board destroys a DNA. . .and trust me I never thought I’d say that. I have, um, a whole lot of unopened dna200 mods and about 6 more in use.

I’ve never picked up one of my DNA mods and thought this just isn’t good enough. If that ever happens you will hear about it. :slight_smile: Oh yes, you will hear about it.
