Furaneol Caramelic

Hi!

Currently trying to make a similar juice to my usual go to off the shelf one (Podsalt Nexus Strawberry Watermelom Kiwi).

I have made a few bottles of juice up which are nice, but were missing something.

On the back of the off the shelf bottle, it says it contains Furaneol.

However i cant find alot of info on forums about it and wondered if there is a reason…

As i was thinking of buying the Solub Arome Furaneol Caramelic and adding a bit to see if that helps.

Just seeing if anyone has any experience with it?

Thanks

I was able to find this, sounds like it would be beneficial to quite a few fruit mixes.
It doesn’t seem to say on (solub arome) website what percent dilution there concentrate is so you would have to start low and gradually work up until it tastes how you want it (the neat chemical is extremely potent).
Furaneol is a naturaly occurring chemical compound responsible for the distinct smell and taste of strawberries, pineapples, and tomatoes. It is often referred to as the “strawberry ketone.”

The “Caramelic” designation usually refers to a specific concentration or blend of Furaneol (often paired with caramel or other sweet notes) designed to provide a deeper, more cooked fruit sensation rather than just a raw fruit taste.

It boosts Fruit Flavor: It is incredibly potent. Adding a tiny amount (often 0.1% to 0.5% of the total mix) can make strawberry, watermelon, or pineapple flavors taste much more authentic and “real.”
It has a naturally sweet profile (similar to butterscotch or caramelized sugar) without adding actual sugar, which helps mimic the sweetness of commercial juices.
It helps round out sharp flavors, giving the vape a smoother, more rounded mouthfeel that mimics commercial “nicotine salt” or “disposable” pod juices.
It adds a ripe fruit sweetness that makes the juice taste like actual fruit syrup.

Welcome and glad you joined.
