The Goliath 2 takes ROCC dual coil heads (the same as Zephyrus) 0.5 ohm (30-50W) or lower plus the new Ni heads. Also RBA head for dual or single coil setup. Air and juice flow are adjustable, and the coil can be replaced without wasting the juice.
Dimensions are 4.9cm height 2.2 cm diameter (without the drip and the 510). The capacity is 5ml

ARCHITECTURE
Not a simple atty, needs its time to learn it.
The air hole ring is at the base
On top of the base screw the head
After, press the ring with the juice control index
Then the chimney
Then the juice flow adjust ring with the drop engraved
The oring for the tank
The tank
Finally the top cap with the oring and the drip tip
Turn the tank with its down ring to adjust the juice
Adjust the airflow from the base.

Press and turn the drip tip to fix it

To secure the atty, screw to top cap to the chimney. The first times will be difficult. Then you’ll get used.
The tank can be moved to change the coil, so no juice wasted.
It’s a top fill atty, remove the top cap to fill, screw with the atty upside down for the last 1-2 turns
A new youde patent is the spiral inner at the drip and the chimney. This is engraved for smoother vape flow, according to Youde.

Also according to Youde, all their products have one year guaranty, CE, ISO and RoHS

SETUP
The ROCC head simply screws on the base. It has ceramic and cotton coil. Wet it well and vape

Setting a dual coil: under the 2 screws there are two holes. Insert the wire to the holes and secure with the screws. One coil at each side of the screws. Big air holes exist under each coil.
The cotton coils must be short and not cover the juice roots and holes.
For a single coil setup put the single coil adaptor and build the coil to the free side of the head. The silicone will cover the airhole and the juice holes.

VAPING
Goliath V2 is a native subohm lung inhale atty. Even with a single coil, lung inhales are easy if the airhole is fully opened.

For mouth inhales close the airholes and prefer a single coil. The juice flow must be adjusted to the lower or medium level, depending on the user, the wire, the wattage.

ROCC heads vape perfect. There is a video somewhere for rebuilding even them. Vape them at 30-50watts
25+ for the dual coil RBA
13+ for the single coil low ohm (eg 1.5)

Mouth inhales aren’t Goliath’s best, but it performs good.
Comparing Goliath with Youde’s other new release, the Goblin mini, Goliath proves its native lung inhale character, while GM performs slightly better at mouth inhales. They bot share the same tanks and tanks orings.

POSITIVES
A native fine subohm atty. Clouds, throat hit and also taste.
Many heads and setups to choose
Fair price
Coil change without wasting the juice
Air and juice flow adjustable
A smart single coil adapter
510 drip with its own orings as a spare to put your drip tip
A bonus spare part rich kit

Available color tanks and drip tips
Easy setup-big head space
5ml capacity
Not a big atty for its capacity

NEGATIVES
The construction quality isn’t the best for a European atty user. Even the chimney doesn’t screw smoothly
A little difficult to assemble/disassemble at the beginning. A general philosophy of press and turn needs from the vaper a time to get used
Noisy
Rather big for users of nano atties
A little leakage when filling or not adjusting the watts properly. Needs to get used to
Its target group are the experienced users which will enjoy it
Thanks Youde, here is the video

@svoula did a bang up job of reviewing the Goliath V2. Reiterating everything in the review would be boring, so I’m just going to put in my 3 cents as I come across notable things with the atty.

First off, a big thanks to Origin Vape for getting this atty in stock and for quick shipment after the purchase; they are top notch as a vendor.

Haven’t put the Goliath through all it’s paces yet, but there are things left to be desired with this atomizer. Yup, UD needed to put this thing through a few more focus group sessions before they put the “stamp of approval” on the plans for production.

The wave of tanks which are top fill are getting more abundant every day; what happened there UD? I say that with the intentional segue into the topic:
“Could UD have made unscrewing the base of the atomizer for the purpose of getting to the atomizer head or refilling the tank any more difficult?”

The answer is probably, yes, but I don’t see how they could’ve.

It took me about 10 minutes of wrangling to remove the base of the atty for the purpose of refilling the tank due to the extreme tight fit of the base to the tank. Part of the issue is, the outside of the atty is completely smooth; other than the etched logo print and the heartbeat juice flow etching. Slicker than owl shit on a pump handle, as my Grandfather used to say! This issue may be resolved with a bit of sanding on the inside of the housing? I hope so, or I won’t be using this atty much at all.

This issue should not exist, since unscrewing the base to get to the atomizer head or refilling the atty is the main action one will be performing on this atty.

The rest of this atty performs just like the V1; small miracles!

More to come…

So besides accessing the coils nothing else is worst. I heard mention of that in a review… especially if juice is on the tank. A lot of people complained about the look of the original, so they went with aesthetics over functionality. Sense it vapes like the first one I’ll be ok. I use all three of my other ones still and it’s a top notch vape.

No doubt the V1 vapes like a champ; two thumbs up.

For the V2, they should have supplied two tiny little pipe wrenches and a blue screwdriver. If it can’t be cured with sanding, I’ll be breaking out the dremel tool and cutting grooves/notches on the sides of the atty to be able to grip and turn.

I may just do it to save myself some frustration.

This v2 is FIRE!!! Yep… @Jimk I think it’s vaping better than the original. Flavor wise is slightly better… but vapor production is on par with a dripper. .07 ohm super sub Ti build is rocking. I think the Crown slightly edge it out on flavor… but just barely. The v2 vapor quality is tops for all my tanks tho.

Cool!

Well, please let me know if it’s something I’m doing wrong to separate the base from the tank after the initial set up for refilling, etc. Perhaps mine is the only one just being difficult? I’d love to know if others have the same issue.

I stuck a thumbnail in the airflow slots and twist it off. You do have to apply more pressure than usual, but it come right apart.

I figured I had better wait a couple of days after my first attempts so I’d cool down a bit. I’m afraid if it doesn’t go well, there’s going to be a hole in my kitchen wall where this Goliath V2 has been violently cast! sigh

Ok, so no hole in the kitchen wall!

I figured I would solve the sticky base issue with a look at the tattoo on my right arm which states, “Look Further”. I did. Low and behold, I solved the issue (Thank You Egyptians!) with our old friend… Leverage! You know it, you love it, it’s perhaps helped you get a raise in pay at your place of employment (secrets about your boss). Yes, there are all types of leverage and I’m not afraid to use them.

You know those tiny little blue screwdrivers you get with every atomizer? Yep…used it like a tiny little crowbar to help with getting the base separated from the tank. Worked like a charm.

So, I turned the atomizer upside down, held on to the tank tightly, inserted screwdriver as shown and turned the base until it was loose from the tank! BAM! Done and done!

Next, I will tell you a trick for all those atomizer parts which seem the devil to put together and take apart due to super tight tolerances or very grabby O-rings. You could sand down the parts with super fine metal grade sandpaper or grab some Chapstick! I chose the Chapstick. Apply where the sticky parts are and BAM! Slicker than owl poop on the water pump handle.

Now, I’m enjoying my new Goliath V2 as I should. And to think, we used to swing from trees! I love evolution!

P.S. The Egyptians actually learned leverage from Space Aliens…just say’ins all. So, can’t forget to put them in the program credits… Thanks Space Dudes!
