I’m going to try the 10 pack of 5ml glass at wet vapes. $7 with discount. It’s should be tall enough. I’ll be watching kidney puncher and have my cart ready.

check the measurements. the RBA glass is taller. i’m still trying to figure it out.

perhaps those that have the tank kit can measure. i am not going to order any until i get mine and measure.

I’ve bought all my spares from Fasttech. They’re “Expansion glass” versions for use with the RBA.

The link above for Mr. E-Liquid had them yesterday for 99 cents but looks like they’ve closed now.

This sums up the X-Baby perfectly. I’d also add that all the coils have pretty restrictive airflow. The RBA decks were the only worthwhile way to use those tanks in my opinion.

I forgot to mention this and it’ll probably get buried quick, but the safe colors for all Smok tanks are:

Black
Stainless (of course)
Rainbow
Gold
Blue (regular Blue, not Auto Blue).

I’m not sure about Gunmetal. I haven’t used one of those. The painted ones fade and or wear off. Green, red, purple, and pink and those types will eventually start flaking off. It has something to do with their coloring process. For whatever reason, the ones I listed above stay good for years and years.

I’m pretty sure the “Prism” colors are safe as well. The “Auto” ones are all regular paint which doesn’t hold up.

I found one at Vapor Authority (US) but my question is, this is like a Griffin deck. I have the Griffin, why should I get Big Baby? Any other advantages?

I asked this question to you in another thread I believe. If I have a Griffin what would be the advantage of a Big Baby since the deck is the same?

I have a Conqueror. That’s going pretty far back! It’s a good RTA though. Gotta wrap your coils in reverse. You’ll see.

I had a Conqueror before and liked it. I gave it away after shelving it for the latest and greatest that came out at the time. If you have no issues with your Griffrin, then save yourself the cost and stick with it. Personally, I don’t see the advantage of one over the other.

Thx, Lostmarbles, I always liked the Griffin but I do have a touch of shinyitis and can’t resist a good deal.

It’s not totally the same. The RBA can be used in other tanks with the right glass as well. It’s just a subohm tank with a nice RBA for really cheap (again at Wet Vapes).

They’re what started tanks like the TFV9, NRG S& PE, and also Ceberus types. You can turn those tanks into RTAs basically with those RBA (and the right glass lol).

The chief advantage of many of the older tanks was the tried and true velocity chimney and kennedy style deck. The less airflow from modern tanks is what gives you the better flavor without the turbulence of these down draft chimney designs. There was a guy in Europe that did this wind tunnel test on coils and proved the concept definitively years ago. So I look for rtas that have good airflow directly at the coils and use coils that have the texture like the golfball does, thats pretty much any cool like a clapton to achieve the texture.

Fyi it looks like everyone is sold out of wire! I had hoped to get a couple spools of Vandy Vape quality fused clapton in Nichrome like 282 34 dual to try out and restock my 2632 SS single core. Im open to 28*34 SS or Nichrome too. Please PM if you have a lot of extra cool wire or know someone that might have it for me to get as late as 9pm when I get home. Thanks!

Okay, so that RBA will fit other subohm tanks? I have a shit load of RTAs but very little subohm tanks. However, I can see where this could save money when you get a dirt cheap deal on subohm tanks that are compatible. I totally get that.

Ha ha, isn’t that ironic. Now you’re buying it again. I kept all my old gear. I gave away one Kanger subohm mini because I had three and traded an RDA for another one. So, very little loss of old stuff. I even have a Kraken genny.

Take a look here to see if anything interests you:

I used to collect different wire rolls. I haven’t touched them in a long time though since I’ve been constructing my own wires. Those Wire Optim ones sure are convenient though and last long being 25 feet.

I don’t remember who was looking for Unity RTAs but I noticed them on my main wire site. They have Blue, Stainless, and Rainbow left. Kidney Puncher is in Texas or Arizona I think? I forget. Here’s a link:

SmokTek, not much left there and ordering ends the 27th. Another old school item, I picked up an Ehpro Cronus mech mod for $15. Good mods, the original was hella-expensive in its day.

(Good, basic backup mech mod, non hybrid too)
