Appreciate your letting everyone know!
I just ordered some cheap Smok T-shirts from Ecig Mafia. I’m not sure about the quality but they’re cheap enough. They might make good gifts or to wear and get dirty ect.

They also have the Hellvape Hellbeast RDA for the cheapest I’ve seen at $22 minus 15% off with code: BUNNY15
In case you’re wondering, I’ve ordered from there several times in the last year or so and have never had trouble.
Oh that sucks! Sorry to hear it and maybe I just got lucky. Thx for posting so we can have the full picture.
not a good deal = i was going to order a $160 mod from myvpro, had to talk myself into it. go to check out, they added a $5 sign charge, then $15 tax.
yeah, its only $20, which, in the end is nearly nothing. but it still put me off.
that, and i really shouldn’t be spending any money anyway.
i may take the chance and order from 3f for $130. but the “chance”
Doh! Not cheaper 🤦
Asmodus Amighty $20.02 USD + shipping from China

Craziest thing I came across in Utah was the High West Distillery in Park City. Was at the bar and ordered a martini, really liked their vodka and asked for a shot of it on the side to try it neat. They said I would need to finish the martini first as they could only serve 2oz of any one spirit at a time and a maximum of 3.5oz in total. In other words… I could sit with 2oz of vodka and 1.5oz of whisky or gin, but not 3.5oz of vodka!
I also had problems with Vapeaya. Goods didn’t show up and no response from their side. I have an open PayPal case with them.
Nice catch, Lostmarbles!
That just stinks. Sorry I ever mentioned it
Don’t be sorry! Not your fault they are garbage at customer service. Your experience was good. They probably do one or two item orders well and hope mistakes go unnoticed or not worth the customers time and pay their bill.
It’s the only color that Asmodeus has that is not slippery in the hand. It’s a flat black that grips well.
I don’t know if things have changed in Utah, or when you were there. The bar tender could not give you the drink they just prepared for you “across the bar”. The bar tender had to walk around to exit the working side of the bar to hand you your drink. I have never been able to wrap my head around that one.
Also in the past, I believe, they could not mix the spirits with the non alcohol portion of the drink. I believe they would serve them separate (around the bar, not across) and the customer had to put them together if they wanted a mixed drink. I think the alcohol part had to in its own single serve bottle, like the little airplane bottles the airlines used to serve. They called them shooters. This was before my time so my info is second hand from a former boss that lived there way back.
When I was there from '94 to 2000, all establishments serving alcohol had to be private clubs. You could buy a yearly membership, or a single day membership. If you just wanted one beer and be on your way it’s not worth it but there was an inherent loophole. There would always be two or three drunks that sit by the door waiting for a non-member to drop in. They would invite you in as their guest, you are expected to buy them a beer and you should. It’s not written anywhere, it’s just something you figure out pretty quickly😉,
The beer (and wine?) sold in Utah has to be 3.5% or below alcohol content. Many big labels would brew and package seperate for Utah. The one exception is the beer approved for sale by the Alcohol Beverage Commission, only sold at the state ABC store. They only approved about eight to ten labels a year, so for a whole year you were stuck with that selection. The next year they ‘might’ switch one to three labels out, of course removing the same number. To add insult they only sold warm beer and only accepted checks. As if it wasn’t bad enough there was only two or three of the state ABC stores in the entire state! Fortunately, I lived only twenty minutes away.
Somehow though, Park City, the fancy smancy posh ski resort that was mostly occupied with out of state visitors, managed to have a pretty damn good brewery, “Park City Brewery”, that served up craft and seasonal beers of whatever alcohol strength the wanted, if I got my facts straight. I never left the place without having indulged as if it were my last visit to a brewery . They had great food there too. You could buy Growlers and fill them up for take out and you could bring you Growler back in and just pay for the beer going into it this time. I think the empty Growler was between $10 and $15.
Now, let me just say that I’m not bashing on the good folks that call Utah home, just their government officials and the stupid laws. They are collectively some of the nicest, physically fit good looking people. They do not force their religion on you although you are sure to get a visit once every two years. You just tell them you have already been given the speil and you worship something else and they will briefly chat as neighbors checking in on you. They must keep records or else you would be approached many times.
If drinking alcohol is not the center of your life you can really enjoy living there. It’s natural beauty and recreational opportunities are incredible, and they keep it clean.
We got something like that in Minnesota. Gas station beer and “3/2 bars” can only sell 3.2% alcohol beer. It used to be that off sale was prohibited after 10pm and on Sundays, but you could buy 3.2 stuff. I’m not sure if those laws have changed or whatever.
I think that full liquor licenses must cost more than the 3.2 type ones. I used to help at a mom and pop type place that had a 3/2 bar. People bring in their own liquor but buy “Set-ups” from the bar. I’d put some ice in a glass, let the customer pour in their whiskey or whatever, then top it off with whatever they wanted (coke/or age juice/water/whatever). The set ups cost less than a mixed drink and the customer has total control on the spirit ratio. People from out of state have told me how much they love that concept but it was a hole in the wall, middle of nowhere bar. If the customer wanted beer, we could sell them 3.2% alcohol beer or Mike’s lemonade ect.
Utah is just about my favorite place in the US. I love the desert (my GF had relatives who owned a B&B in Springdale at the entrance of Zion National Park). Alcohol was never a big thing as we always carried a stash of Kettle One and Makers Mark on our road trips. My most enlightening moment was on one of our first trips to the Grand Canyon. Went to a diner in small dusty town for dinner. I scanned the menu for a cold beer. I knew the beer was all low alcohol in the state, but spotted Heineken and thought to myself Ha! Heineken dont sell low alcohol beer, so I order one and much to my disgust it was 3.5% WTF? The other thing I had to get used to was meeting strangers from Utah. The conversations typically went like this -
Random stranger: "I like your accent, where are you from…Australia?
Me: “No I’m from New Zealand - we’re sorta neighbors”
Random stranger: “Wow, it looks very beautiful there, we would love to go there one day”
Me: “Yes it is, but I gotta say I just love Utah - it is amazing!”
Random stranger: “Are you Mormon?”
Me: Huh?
My favorite! I about died laughing the first time I saw the beer label It’s not just a shirt, I’ve seen it on the shelves somewhere in Texas but I didn’t buy it then. I don’t know if I’ll ever find it here again. I would frame that shirt. It can probably be ordered.
I like the Stout they have on tap. I’ve been able to buy the standard Wasatch Ale at HEB grocery store where I live.
When I lived in Utah the guys I worked with and for were into brewing. We had regular brew parties where we all pitched in to brewed future batches while we drank the batches that were ready . Good times and good friends. I guess that’s why the bar scene never bothered me there, I didn’t need to go out.
Found at my local HEB. Pretty good stuff.
They must have been the best type of mates to have in a dry(ish) state The first time I had Wasatch on tap was actually in Springdale (in one of the two bars. I remember asking the barman how they were able to sell full strength beer, but for the life of me can’t remember his reply - over indulging most probably to blame.Made several trips to Utah between 2011 - 2017.
