So I just joined, and have been perusing around. I am particularly attracted to tobacco threads(!) Anyway, dying for a cigarette I had an idea generated from the many cries for help in making tobacco juice. One person said he used just DNB in high percentage. Sounded a little crazy from my limited reading but I thought WTF, I am yearning that burnt ash taste, so I went to the kitchen and put 3% DNB and 3% Dark Vapure (Flavourart) in a 10ml bottle and topped it off with a 20mg salt nic shot. Maybe that will be my emergency vape when I need a cigarette? Workes out to 19mg give or take and 10.6ml give or take. Never considered that before reading here…so thanks. I am quite prepared for this to be a disaster but crossing my fingers…for 3 weeks while it conditions!
I’m new myself but don’t be afraid to try your recipes while they steep. I normally wait 24 hours before trying but sometimes it’s interesting to see how the flavour develops with steeping trying it every day or two. Some recipes I’ve found didn’t really gain anything of value after a day or two steeping.
The first recipe I ever mixed is a tobacco recipe called “Abuela” it uses flavorah concentrates at low percentages. I was used to commercial juice so I thought “I’ll never taste that” so I mixed it at 15%. Left it 2 weeks really excited to try it. I was very nearly physically sick. It was discussing and left a burnt, melted plastic taste in my mouth that lingered. Be prepared when you try your tobacco mix. I learnt a very valuable lesson. My taste buds have never forgotten me.
I’ve mixed it since at the right percentages and it’s really good.
