Good Morning everybody what's in store for the weekend

Hey everybody what’cha up to this weekend, I’m swiping succulents out of my neighbors yards and potting them for my wife and probably picking berries, I don’t think the berries will ever end. lol I have to give a tomato a pep talk to try and get it the rest of the ripe. I want fresh tomatoes so bad. Mine seem so late this year.

This weekend not much, but last weekend I did that.

The hubby is going to a baseball game, so I’m taking the kids to Sonic during happy hour for slushes. Exciting times here! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s what mini bottles were made for you know.

Oh that’s nothing I can make that happen for my wife any night of the week. lmao

Hmm, I think a lemon berry slush with gin sounds pretty good.

Or maybe sour lime with tequila

You’re speaking my language.

Not the weekend but monday is my girls day off so we are taking a little trip up north to Ogden, going to go tubing down a river  this month is 2 for 1 deal $20 for two people rent tubes life jackets and shuttle ride to drop off and pick up locations  seemed like a fun thing for us to go do together to celebrate our 1st year anniversary (was actually on the 14th but i just cooked her a dinner since she worked that day). Then probably gonna go to Layton Park to walk the path along their creek, and then dinner and some wine.
Btw anyone into wine? @BoDarc? We hardly ever drink anything with alcohol so not sure whats good. Some suggestions for something cheap would be appreciated… (like under $20)

There is a lot of competition in wine… Translation there is no cheating and you get what you pay for. 15 to 20 should get you something very nice. Recommend Anything from La Crema or Gnarlyhead. La Crema. Chardonnay for a white …oaky and buttery. For a tasty red that’s not too dry Gnarlyhead Old Vine Zinfandel… .they make a nice Chardonnay too. Definetly under 20. Seriously im about togo to the store right now.

Super Sonic burger and onion rings. :grinning:
Wine would go good with that.

If you have Barefoot down there it’s really good and are you into red or white? My problem is there are so many small winery’s around my area that pretty much all we ever drink is only available locally.

Boones farm is yummy melon ball is my favorite from my highschool days lol buttt i hardly consider it real wine lol tastes like ‘bitch beer’ (like bacardi o3 or smirnoff triple black) we got a bottle of ‘Twisted Cedar’ moscato, had a bit more alcoholly liquory taste than expected, but not bad. The lady wants to try some kind of Rosé, dont remember the name of it now but she wants to go back to the liquor store and find it again to try.
