Koss Porta-Pro headphones. Outstanding sounds! Also extremely lightweight, foldable and portable. The only downside is that the speaker wires are not very firmly attached to the headsets, and will eventually pull loose.
Koss’ lifetime warranty will replace or repair them at a small cost, but I’m looking for a better, long term solution.
Several months ago I read a review on Amazon where the owner used Sugru moldable putty/glue to more firmly hold the speaker wires to the headsets. Unfortunately he didn’t include how well they held up further down the road.
If anyone has a Porta-Pro, do you have any tricks and tips (which doesn’t involve soldering) on how to improve the longevity?
