Me and my bro ordered 2 griffin 25s from FT and his seems to be perfect. Mine has a problem adjusting juice flow, it is like crazy tough to spin the thing. Anybody else have this issue, or know of a way to somehow loosen it up? Its like a sliding glass door that has come off the tracks… Not a huge deal, but definitely not optimal. Cheers!
agree to above advice, as you disassemble i suggest you give it a warm bath to expand and loosen up the metal. the juice flow is tight on the G25, i can barely spin it and it’s slightly easier when it’s attached to the mod. so it may not be an issue
Hey! Yep, unscrew the whole thing (i have a problem where the 2 pieces on either end of the glass get too tight and trying to grab that thin piece of metal is a pain in the proverbial, use a tea towel or similar to get grip) and clean every part, pay close attention to the knurled part above the airflow ring, rinse under warm water and leave to dry, reassemble and test.
If it spins part way and stops, you may have an out of shape chimney, also check that your coil, cotton and ceramic block aren’t catching.
It spins all the way around, its just extremely tight. I’ve disassembled it and I think the part that spins is pressure fitted, there doesn’t seem to be a way to take it off of the base. After spinning it counter clockwise a couple dozen times it seems to move a little better, could just be juice getting in between and lubing it up a bit… maybe I just need to break it in a bit. I built the coils and wicked both of mine and my brother’s at the same time, so i think there may just be a minor flaw in mine. I’ll keep playing with it. Thanks for the help!
I notice mine seems tight when I first reassemble it, but then it seems to loosen up. I think over-tightening the base to the top section may be the culprit. Mine’s getting a bath in the ultra sonic at the moment, but I’ll take a look at the juice control more closely before it goes back together to see if anything jumps out at me, which would actually be pretty scary.
Mine is the same way. When I first got it, I was loosening the tank slightly to open the juice holes (explained the occasional leaking ). I didn’t even realize I was doing it wrong until I broke out the original griffin again and noticed how smooth it was. Now I have to have the take screwed all the way down and only turn it clockwise to adjust the juice flow or the tank unscrews.
Mine did the same thing, all I did was put the tank all together and started twisting the bottom most ring on the tank clockwise when looking at the 510 and it loosen right up and moves freely either way now.
