Griffin 25 Top Airflow by Geek Vapes

This ^ …full agreement, I have 2 x 25’s and they are now just ornaments, they are massive flavour sponges, great for clouds…big thick…tasteless clouds, but that’s about it, and I too have tried everything in them.
it’s a shame as it’s really well made but the internal dimensions are all wrong. Still…it’s pretty well known now and Geek vape do some pretty awesome stuff so if they brought an updated one out with the problems addressed I’d probably take a punt on one.

The 25+ isn’t any better when it comes to flavor unfortunately.
Maybe the new Ammit single coil RTA they got out now is the one for flavor.

I do not understand how you all are not getting flavor out of the Griffins. Both Griffins I have are to me very flavorful. Great dense clouds of flavor. To me and this is subjective of course, I get the best flavor out of rebuildable-atomizers. I wish I could help you get that flavor.

I also like the Griffin 25 for flavor, maybe because I don’t use TC or high wattage… I don’t know.

Even in TC mode I had great success in hitting flavor notes. I like I have said before, different strokes for different folks. I honestly will keep buying Geek vape products. To me they have proven to be quality devices. I have yet to have a devices from them that I have not liked.

I have the Griffin original, the Griffin 25, and the Tsunami RDA. All great devices. Small cons on the Tsunami, but the flavor that thing produces is amazing to me. Bottom air flow should get you that desired dense cloud of flavor.

Maybe I just don’t know what I’m doing. Wouldn’t be the first time! All I know is I have the Griffin 25 Mini, Boreas, Moonshot and SMOK TF-RDTA all with the same build - dual SS Claptons. Regardless of whether TC or Watts, temp or power level, the Griffin isn’t just dead last for flavor, it doesn’t even make it to the finish line. The others are neck in neck for flavor. If I’m doing something wrong i wish someone would beat some sense into me because among the tanks I’ve mentioned I like the Griffin the most in every way but flavor.

No offense to you or other people when I say this. Why the hell does everyone think claptons and temp mode will always give you flavor? A simple build of kanthal or twisted kanthal will give you flavor. I use organic cotton and I like it better than rayon. I think rayon gives horrible taste. Again these are my tastes. I think to get flavor you do not have to have some fancy build that was on Youtube because someone said it is the bees knees. I say go simple then work your way up. Do a simple dual coil and the see if that works for you. Just my two cents.

You’re obviously not a flavaholic. The pursuit of the best flavor possible leads many folks to TC and/or Claptons, etc. If they like what they find, they will continue. It’s not science, it’s preference. But leaning on my past few years of experience I can say without hesitation that if a tank or RDA doesn’t have good flavor with a clapton build (assuming the mod is doing its job) then a simple Kanthal build won’t be good at all. That’s my opinion and I’m sticking with it!

And that is why opinions are great every one has one. I respect your thoughts, but think differently from you.

Don’t be rude man. If you have something constructive to say just keep it to that. Coming off the way you do now isn’t gonna help you out much in this forum.

I’m gonna hop on the “you aint that cool dude” train by saying that i use 22awg claptons all the time and lets be real honest here, it has nothing to do with being cool it’s more about getting the ohms to a place where you find your sweet spot flavor wise and so on and just because of that i’m considering getting 20awg so i easily can get to my sweet spot.

And yeah i have also considered bobwire, cattle fence wire and other exotic wire to make builds from. But since i don’t wanna be associated with all those “you aint that cool dude” i haven’t done it yet.

Just out of curiousity, what is it that make you a self acclaimed “real vapor” and LordVapor not?

Ya know @tyger13us at one time people thought going below 1 ohm was insane, the same with using other materials different from kanthal. If YOU don’t want to use 22awg wire and someone else does, is there an issue with that? I normally don’t go over 22 watts, and that is only when my coils need cleaning and I’m too lazy right then to do it… I basically stay around 19 - 20 watts. But soooo many people are using the 40-80 watt range, does that make me doing something incorrect?
If you have a disagreement with someone using something that your obviously unfamiliar with, why not ask them questions about what they are doing, it normally illicits a better response than tossing your hands in the air and pretending a god like persona by stating how long you’ve been vaping… nobody cares. A newbie can give out good advise just as much as someone that has been vaping since Hon Lik tapped them on their shoulder and said, I think I can sell this.

Someone saying he has vaped for 6 years only tells me that he has managed to inhale vapor for that time nothing else. For all i know you can have learnt absolutely nothing during these 6 years and still manage to come of as godsend to vaping.

Don’t you mean, in YOUR opinion it’s not a good choice. And sitting in your pj’s calling people stupid is in itself not smart.
Do you know what the other person is doing? Are you aware if the other person has been working on using lower wires and are (or are not) working safely? Did you ask them what ohms they are hitting or device they are using? Or just wished to toss out a blanket clause stating things…
Okay, i shouldn’t make this personal, ya’ll know how defensive I get lol… let me go make some of that buttered popcorn…

This post is actually the first post that you try to make a point in those others you actually got personal insinuating i was stupid another member you were being offensive towards.

The next time you try to make a point why not try to do so in a less offensive and personal way.

I totally wish i could use the  right now directly on your post instead of a like.

Oh and i see that you have proclaimed @Wayne_Walker to be the godfather of vaping. I like the guy but i’m not even sure he knows you have given him that status within the vaping community.

I mean that must be the only reason you throw his name around in this thread where you are making a total ass of yourself with no help from others i might add, it’s all on your own.
