So I found a legit yihi SX mini SL class on sale for 70€. It was the last one in the store. This thing is wild! Don’t tell my wife, but I think I’m in love!
I’m blown away with how there’s different flavor settings at the same wattage mode. It’s such a huge difference between them all. Is this done with difference curve settings on every flavor mode? I haven’t even tested TC mode yet, as I’m currently running an Ni80 coil. Looking forward to playing with this a bit more.
Does anyone use one of these, or any other similar SXmini products? I was wondering if someone can guide me on how to adjust custom curve settings? Do I need special software on my computer?
As far as I can remember it’s all done with the toggle switch never used curve myself check the manual I’ll have a look my end or find an old reveiw on you tube best I can help
Yes sir @IggyZ I also have an original Sx mini sl and quite a few other YIHi products. Can’t help you with the curve settings that’s not really something I’ve ever messed with. I know Session Drummer might have a contact with David @Yihi. Maybe he can point you in the right direction.
The manual unfortunately only has about 5 pages in English, and it doesn’t go in depth at all. There’s nothing in there about it except the fact that you CAN do it. I looked it over a few times, and found nothing regarding the curve settings beyond that it can be done in any of the first 3 of the 5 custom TC settings.
But man oh man, do I love this mod! I’ve not vaped any DNA devices, but from any and all TC that I’ve tried, this one is in another league, taste wise. I’m also loving the “Low Liquid” warning that doubly protects from dry hits in TC. I’ve never been able to vape a cotton so dry.
I just noticed that myself. Was googling and stumbled across your v2 review, and noticed our mods weren’t the same.
I wrote v2 in the post because I honestly thought I bought a v2, as that’s what was said on the website and in my receipt email from the shop.
Either way, I’m extremely happy with the purchase. And I kind of hate to admit it, but I love the steampunk kind of look it has, opposed to the smooth v2 version.

@Ken_O_Where eat your heart out you mech loving, RDA fool I probably got the last two of CoilArt’s 21700 Azeroth squonkers. (This was a few years ago, lol). Look at the guts in this baby. Topped with the Haku Venna.
I absolutely loved my Azeroth mech. I had a purple one a few years ago, but it unfortunately developed legs and disappeared while at a vape show along with my Hadaly rda. They are getting hard to find anymore. Though my local B&M has a black one I’ve had my eye on for awhile.
Ya it was probably my own fault for setting it down while looking at other mods. Now I just keep my mod in my pocket while at Vape/trade shows. Its a great way to get the lowdown on new stuff and to sometimes score some free samples. I’ve got a show here in Aug that I am hopefully going to, reps from Asmodus and YiHi are scheduled to be there along with Amoretti Flavors (some high $$$ flavors) and Silverback Flavors (Barista Brews).
That’s so cool, I want to get a squonk. I just can’t justify spending the money rn though. I don’t do dual coils, but I love to tinker with RDAs, and it would be nice to be able to actually leave the house with a squonk and not worry about dripping. I could always get a single coil RDA I guess.
Yes not like they are in Europe where they can be huge conventions. In the states shows are usually take place in select cities where vape shops are expanding. Which doesn’t make since for Houston TX as most of the shops are more head shops than dedicated vape shops. These days they are considered Alternative culture shows spanning everything from CBD THC and Nicotine vape culture.
Squonkers don’t have to be expensive. I happened to get the Azeroth dirt cheap because they were being discontinued. The RDA (Haku Venna) on it is single coil. There are some great single coil RDAs out there. Especially common for flavor testing. Less cotton to swap out between flavors.
I mean, they sent the wrong colour, BUT, for £0.95p i aint complaining, & tbh i did kinda think i wanted to order a clear cap after remembering how hot these little fuckers get, now im hoping they make the same mistake with the hadalys too so i dont have to order more,lol.
Edit - plus 5 days for a delivery from china to uk is brilliant when the estimate was may 27th.
Finally getting around to trying this Caliburn G2 I got for Xmas, pretty good wit the Milk and Honey! Although it took me a while to figure out how to fill the pod lol…
