I think I have to get this mid , which tank is that btw? Galxy? I think the Nicolas is the best mtl coil tank out there, and very few have tried it compared to aspire because tanks, which pale in comparison. Coils last a long time, tastes the most like my ratas. I’m curious how their rtas are

I liked the Nicolas tank when I still used drop-in coil tanks too. My only problem was the coils were Ni80 and that doesn’t work too well for me, tastes metallic.

So as a mtl vaper what have you come on to lately that you really like.
I need something top fill, compact-ish 22mm, ideally 3ml, with great flavour - and I’m very out of the loop on modern tanks.
Any thoughts?

Hmmm, the 22mm is difficult as I prefer 23/24mm. Just got an Expromizer V4 which is 23mm and only 2ml. It’s not too bad. I am using a bubble glass to make it 4ml which obviously makes it a bit wider but I don’t do 2ml. The only 22mm RTA’s I actually have are a couple of Vapefly Galaxies, which I like a lot, and a Spica Pro which is arguably the best RTA I own, but again, only 2ml… I don’t like 2ml atties.

Thanks for the info. Yah 22 is a limit because all the kids I have which are smaller (in fact Alamitos all my kids because they’re older) are 22mm. I will eventually get a 24.
Someone posted a side by side that I really liked and is about £50. Maybe I’ll grab that.
I don’t know mind bubble class at all. None for the spica? Have you checked if other glass fits it? Fast tech forums often have a lot of info on interchangeable glass.
I need to sit down and really look at the mods I have because the trend to 24mm for everything is nice for height but misses me out due to my ageing but very functional and cosmetically like new mods.

So - here’s a very funky looking setup. The rda was made to accept a drip tip. This is setup for mtl right now, and it does it so well. It brings out so much creamy this way. But it’s very weird looking.
How do looks factor in for you all? Is it just about a great vape or do you avoid weird looking / embrace it. I’m leaning towards embracing.

As I go through all my old gear - I realise for my tootlepuffing ways there’s still some good stuff. Probably not the Nicolas at .8 on this mod but how about some more old school
I have tried and tried to replicate the provari boost setting with dna chips. I am also not a big believer in most Mods making a better vape - but this kid with. 2 boost on a mtl setup. Man I need some dna advice.

Great vape is the priority. I live alone, with occasional visitors. If they don’t like my mods/attys, screw 'em. 
But, aesthetics are still important. If there’s an atty I want and a vendor only has it in a color I can’t deal with, I’ll look for it somewhere else.
I’m not so into looks that my DT has to match my mod, though . I generally stick with stainless or black attys. They match pretty much everything. I use the same DT with all my attys since I like its height and mouth feel. It doesn’t always look that great, but its looks are not why I use it.

Here’s a flavour rda setup For today.
Dual twisted Clapton coil coming in at .25 inside a mark bugs charm on top of a (once again older) therion 75 - which I’ve used for about ten minutes because it’s bloody heavy and it came with a broken battery separator (and I could never get lost vape to replace it or source a part so now I’m rigging something up myself).
I know the charm is a love it or hate it in the looks department but I will say - mark bugs, despite flaws, understand flavour really well and the airflow is well done on this , though it’s quite tall. I like the looks but again; I lean to weird.

I think some of their stuff is an acquired taste. In another topic we were talking about the boxer mods and that caused me to try a different eliquid in mine to check a problem. Another mtl setup with a chalice V3 and the boxer mech mod. And a late night time waste - I also realised it’s a bit dirty.
