Handchecks (2020 - 2021)

Yeah I’ve had the Nano for about three years, although it doesn’t look it, It has gotten some heavy use as probably my #3 go-to. I’ll probably pick up another one (if the price is right)

Today’s main set-up.

OG Berserker RTA with 7ml bubble glass. 0.88 ohm 26Ga SS316L 3.0 ID coil running in TC mode.Aegis Solo mod. Simple strawberry cheesecake mix at 3mg.

Fits well in the hand and VTC6 battery lasts pretty good. Happy with this set-up.

Man, I really gotta make some time, and pick your brain on the bestest best coilage for the Beserker. I was gifted one, and am still using it, but despite using very fine wire claptons I just haven’t gotten it to take off in regards to the flavor.

Ok, this one I am running my custard in.

26Ga SS316L round wire.
Around 8 to 9 wraps.
3.0 mm ID
Firm but not tight wicking with tails heavily raked.
Using cotton bacon V2 in this one.

Coil ended up at 0.7 ohms.
Running TC at 420°F and only 15 watts so it doesn’t boil the juice.
Istick Pico S mod running Arctic Fox firmware.

@SessionDrummer, there is plenty of room on the deck so I always use 3.0 mm ID for both round wire and Clapton wire.

If I use the Clapton, it is VandyVape MTL SS316L Clapton wire. I usually aim for around 0.8 ohms for that wire, up to 1.2 ohms for round.

I run my Zerkers on TC mostly so always use SS316L regardless.

Simplify your recipe as much as possible ie: my “complex” ones are usually 6 concentrates or less.

If any of you are inclined to dress-up/repair/modify your mod but aren’t sure how to tear it down, check out this Bulgarian fella on youtube. He has ALOT of different mods and walks you thru it. You don’t need to understand the language to figure it out.

Thanks @SessionDrummer. Still looking at a few different things to bring my collection together, but they would be wants rather than needs at this stage.

Handcheck with the Bic I used to light my last cig over 4 years ago, I keep it in my toolbox and don’t use it or need it anymore.
But I think I’ll still hang onto it,
