I lost my dear Mum suddenly two weeks ago and although it hasn’t sunk in yet I miss her terribly. The day before she died I spent most of my time in her kitchen cleaning whilst she sat alone in her living room which I deeply regret so please make sure that you make every second count while you still have your mother because you never know when it will be your last. Sorry for the outburst, I just had to get it off my chest and I feel comfortable doing so with you guys.
I’m very sorry to hear that @Lucas_James_Holden my wife lost her mother last year, and she’s still dealing with it. Very sorry to hear that mate. Hang in there.
I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your wife’s mother.
Thank you for your kind words mate, I really appreciate it.
It hasn’t sunk in yet as I’ve been so busy trying to sort everything out as I don’t have any siblings to share the responsibilities with, I’m going to see her at the undertakers early next week as my last memory of her was when I was giving her CPR and that might be when the penny actually drops.
My mom had to leave us this past October and I miss her and “talk” to her everyday. Still having ups and downs.
Mom moved in with me about four years before it was her time to go Home, and while her going wasn’t really a sudden thing due to her declining health, I definitely wasn’t ready to let her go.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers, Lucas, I wish you strength and peace.
