Happy Thanksgiving 🍁

Well, i dont have to clear snow anymore so i reckon something good came out of it all. :grinning:

Really glad you caught it in time and that they could repair it. We dont want to lose anyone else around here!

Yeah, where you’re at, getting a Get Out Of Jail Free card, for the snow, IS a benefit!

In my case, like @rcleven mentioned, the medical technology today is amazing. Surgery Monday afternoon, and released Tuesday afternoon. They were able to go up the groin on each side, and do the attachments at the aorta and each femoral artery, without gutting me like a fish. Two and a half weeks later, I was mowing, blowing, raking, & hauling leaves, and climbing extension ladders to clean out the gutters. 20 years ago, I’d probably still be recovering.

We’re both fortunate!

It’s been almost 20 years that the stent was put in my groin. Had 100% blockage. All didn’t go well at the time. It took three tries to get it done. Went in thru the groin and he couldn’t make the U turn in the heart down to the groin blockage. Next try after checking in he bumped me because he had a emergency heart attack to take care of. The third time he went in thru my shoulder thru the heart and down to the blockage. It was the first medicated stents for him. The salesman of stent was in the operating room with my Cardiologist. I woke up on the table and was listening to their conversation.
Better than my dad had it though. Had a massive heart attack back in days before bypass surgery. Had a second attack in the hospital and that was it for him.

Not terrible. At least the hospital fed me each time. More than I could say when I’m at home. They always charged me to be there though.
