I met this girl recently and she vapes this stuff called Flavour Beast Weekend Watermelon 20mg Salt nic 60pg 40vg. She said she can only vape certain flavours or its really harsh for her. She can’t do anything citrus or mango, apple etc etc. I’ve made her probably 7 different recipes now but she says they are all super harsh and can’t vape them. My salt nic is crystal clear and perfect, I’m using 1-2% cap super sweet and 2% ws-23 in all these recipes and have tried various different watermelons, single flavours and blends, everything is harsh for her. I’m thinking its the citric acid in Cap super sweet? I tried polar blast at 1% instead of ws-23 in a recipe and she said it was worse. What do you guys think? Gotta be the sweetener or ice? I’m stumped.
Have you tried making her a juice with no cooling in it? Perhaps the juices she can vape use a different cooling compound, that she can tolerate better than the usual ws23 etc?
Try an uncooled watermelon juice, just for science, and see if it’s harsh. If not, add cooling and test again.
Put some of the Flavour Beast Weekend Watermelon 20mg Salt nic 60pg 40vg in a plain bottle and tell her you’ve mixed it for her and see what she says.
Is that the percentage of the juice that she can vape because I would think 60 PG to 40 VG would make any juice harsh. Propylene glycol can produce a harsh throat hit when used too high. Certain brands of salt nic can also be harsh it all depends on what brand of salt nic they use for the original.
I didn’t even think commercial vapes/pods mixed in 60PG/40VG most are like 50/50. Also I’ve never heard of Super Sweet causing a harsh taste, if anything people use it too high and it causes the juice to be too sweet.
