I am new. So far I have been very unsuccessful at making a tobacco liquid I like. I tried Acetyl Pyrazine looking for a toasted melanoidin character, yuk. Even in trace amounts I don’t like it at all. I am currently looking at very small (5-10ml) mixes using single flavors to isolate what I do like, then potentially blend them. So far all FA varieties: Dark Vapure, Burley, Oak wood, also DNB. I was looking to get an authentic COMBUSTED flavor close to actual burnt tobacco but have yet to make anything close. My tastes are ever changing. I am better at tolerating sweet now but still prefer a dry character. Savory light sweetness is good. Anyway I have been thinking a roasted nut character might get closer to that toasted flavor I want with tobacco and some ash character. Hazelnut? I am ordering some stuff and came across several varieties including one from Flavorah. Any advice?
Firstly theres a wealth of information on every flavour on the recipie side.
Look for the “resources” tab at the top and type in the flavour you want information about and it will pop up.
Secondly it’s worth remembering that vaping is not smoking therfore the two are very different.
Trying to mimic what you are looking for from vaping without the combustion process taking place is a loss leader.
The closest you’ll get is to add a little DNB to one or a combination of a couple of the Inawera Tobaccos from the Absolute range.
Try the recipes i shared with you and then you’ll get a better understanding of what is achievable.
Look for posts in the forum from @Kinnikinnick he is our resident tobacco guy. He also has quite a few good tobacco recipes on the recipe side. Put his name in the search bar and it should pull up his recipes. He also works a lot with NET’s naturally extracted tobaccos.
