Help - need a solid vanilla almond custard

Hello -

I’ve been using The Finest Vanilla Almond Custard for a few years but they recently closed up shop so I am stranded!

I used to do a fair bit of DIY but haven’t in a few years since discovering theirs but now I need to DIY.

Can anyone here point me to a recipe, or even better - if you’re familiar with The Finest flavor profile - help point me towards the ingredients and quantities?

I just mixed a batch of vanilla custard with some almond and it’s okay but doesn’t pop with flavor and smoothness like theirs does…

Only commercially made juice I’ve ever loved.

I absolutely loved that liquid! I won a 60 ml in a waffle…I forgot about it.

Since I’ve had it, let me think on it. Definitely I’d start with FA custard premium and WF almond custard, WF almond cookie… give me a day to think on it.

The easiest thing to do is Grab WF Almond Custard and WF Almond Cookie pair them with your fave custard…You can also grab FA Almond its a great almond flavor. Marzipan and Toasted almond may be fun too. Hmmmm this is something i dint think ive made before. Ill have to look. Might have a new idea

I always check Bull City Flavors , if they dontnhave it i check Nomz in Uk or Diy ejuice in canada…

This is a very popular recipe for the profile you’re after.

It’s simple, and tweaks with various flavors are pretty much endless.
I’ve made it and only added some Super Sweet for more saturation (plus I like my custards sweet).
Along with what others have recommended, this is a great place to start!
