Welcome everyone new, and everyone who’s been cigarette free for years! I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs today. Last year those same 3 flights took the wind right out of me. I was expecting today to be the same. NOPE! I got to the top and was pretty amazed actually. The only side effect of vaping I notice is my voice has gotten really raspy sometimes.

I guess I need to make a calculator that will update it’s % if I have to put more juice in because I added to much flavor. Doing the calculations for that isn’t so bad for me but I can’t put recipes out because they get rather confusing.

Oh, to everyone I told that I screwed up the batch of peach, I fixed it! I added 20ml to the 45-48ml (it started at 40ml) then added 1/2% if what the other 2 started at. It tastes like a ripe peach! Not a hint of strawberry at all. Overall, the strawberry was much less than the peach. I put the strawberry in after I put the 20ml of juice in.

Anyway, that’s my experience with that. I am glad to see more people joining! It’s awesome to see how many people this has helped!

I also just joined, I was already welcomed, so no need to do so again. I just wanted to say that I’m really glad I did. I was kind of debating whether or not to and just figured ‘why not’? I had no idea the wealth of information here! I mostly registered to get all my flavors listed together in one place; being able to see people’s individual flavor notes and usage suggestions is an absolutely invaluable resource. It’s just awesome site. I’m hoping I can contribute something useful eventually, even if by accident.

Actually one is volume level and the other is weight. These number do move for certain flavors especially with large volume mixes. It all depends on the specific gravity for each flavor. Luckily a lot of flavors share nearly the same specific gravity as water which is considered the baseline. So in most cases these numbers do not differ. Weight and volume does change when a flavors specific gravity differ (+/-) from the specific gravity of water.

Exactly. for the sake of simple… due to not many vary… the ml = gm works for 98.8%

I agree… not many are different unless as mentioned earlier vg based flavors. You could add alcohol based flavors also.

K.I.S.S. works every time

PG is a taint bit heavier than water, but such a minor difference doesn’t wildly effect those numbers except in larger volumes. Say nearly 3 mls per 100 mls. Yeah not enough to worry about IMO. except with ultras and 1 drop might screw it at all up..

Yeps… one drop to change the world, 2 to ruin it :stuck_out_tongue:
