Looking forward to game 7 tonight GO Cub’s
momentum is on their side for sure
Here’s a little relaxing jazzy psych up for Game 7…tonights game will be anything but relaxing!
BRING IT HOME CUBS!
Hell yeah. Only game I have watched all year and it’s the best I’ve watch in along time.
Glad the curse is over now let’s hope they don’t burn the city down in celebration!
Yay! Go Cubs! I think most of the world was rooting for the Cubs! So glad they won! And that was a really crazy game…being up 6-3 and letting Cleveland come back to tie it up 6-6 and then going into extra innings! Wow! This World Series was a good one that gave baseball fans their money’s worth! So glad the curse is no more!!!
Well the writers of Back to the Future only missed it by one year and it was the Cleveland Indians not the Miami Gators but I’m glad they Won . What a Great nail biter of a game
lebron james hah chew on that for awhile
I see he put the winning ball in his pocket…
Did he give it to the old man?
No I think Rizzo is going to keep that one
The old man got a game ball from game 5
My wife was up all night freaking out over this, until like 2 AM, her usual bedtime is 9-10PM. Of course she was a total wreck for the entire game…
I dont watch sports anymore, not for many years but even i was happy about this one. Im not sure if it was because i pictured Harry slamming some Buds in the great stadium in the sky or that my wife wont be upset for the next year.
I am happy for three reasons Harry Caray, Ernie Banks, and Chicago style Pizza!
I am just hopeful that I will never have to hear any more stories about the curse of misses O’Leary’s Cow!
O’Leary’s cow, hehehe. I mention this story from time to time in regards to the south side.
I was totally with you until the Chicago style pizza. I LOVE pizza but who in their right minds puts the sauce on top and calls it a pizza?
I do like Gino’s East tho…
For those that don’t understand the reference [folklore…and the meaning behind the Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) instrumental song…
It’s the cow belonging to Mrs. Catherine O’Leary that is often blamed in folklore for starting the Great Chicago Fire of 1871
The Great Chicago Fire was a conflagration that burned from Sunday, October 8, to early Tuesday, October 10, 1871. The fire killed up to 300 people, destroyed roughly 3.3 square miles (9 km2) of Chicago, Illinois, and left more than 100,000 residents homeless
A more visual version…but Halloween is gone for now, eh?
Can’t think of a better game 7 when you consider everything leading up to it.
Congrats Chicago! Keep riding that positive wave.
