As far as I know, in the US, there is not a federal ban on any vaping products. There are some states that have banned or levied regulations on the import of some or all vape products that they refer to as Nicotine products. The federal government in the US often threatens trade bans on certain things for certain countries or threatens tariff increases on imports of some things. The truth is the US is reliant on imports from China for common manufactured goods to the point that a ban would hurt them more than it would hurt China.
As for PayPal, I just think they have a moral stick up their Ass and they are being dicks and trying to justify it as they are concerned about possible regulations.
Those echo my thoughts. I read something about a shipping ban buried somewhere in the latest gooberment operating bill that is in limbo but who the hell knows.
That would be the bill that would ban vape products from delivery using the United States Postal Service (USPS) as the mail handler.
I think the goal is to make vape deliveries require signature of recipe to make it hard for minors to mail order vape products.
The only real affect is a cost increase and an additional pain in the ass for former cigarette junkies such as myself.
I would think the USPS needs all the business it can get as it’s been a money sink for along time now. There is probably an alterier motive that involves money and corruption that is not readily apparent.
Okay, sorry then, I was off on the wrong track perhaps. It’s been awhile since I last read up on the subject. The reddit post was the last thing I read and it was kicked off by the paypal vape ban. For months after that I used paypal to buy vape gear from China with no problem. I just received my most recent purchase about 5 days ago.
I spoke with Steamcrave about this and they said they are looking into alternative payment methods and hope to have something in place in early January. They have a 30% off coupon 1NWZQUQL but it expires on the 31st. They said they will still honor it when they get a new payment option up and running.
I agree. Heck, they don’t want to lose our business. But I have heard that they’re making concerted efforts to beef up their local business…just in case.

I dated a girl for a few years, MANY years ago, who’s parents escaped Fidel Castro in Cuba.
