I can’t seem to move my newly favourited recipes to my created folders. It’s been like this for a while now, I thought it was a bug that would be fixed pretty quick, but it’s been at least a month now with the same issue. When I click the tick box I don’t get the option to move the recipe. I can move recipes already in the folders to another folder, but if I were to remove it from a folder, I can’t put it back in.
Is anybody else having this problem? It’s not the biggest of deals just an inconvenience.
@The_Bearded_Dan I heavily folder, so if there was something broken I would have seen it. I just tested over Firefox on laptop, and Mobile Firefox on my S21 Ultra, and both worked. I typically mix over the laptop, but both were working today. I see you’re on mobile. What phone, and mobile web browser are you using ?
Hello, i’ve also tried on a PC and mobile phone, i didn’t see copy to or move to button. There is only “create folder” button. I’ve created 2 folders but i couldn’t move to any of my favorite recipes in it.
I even have an old ELR account I logged into to try it on there, still nothing. It’s a shame really, I mean I can deal with it, so it won’t bother me too much. It’s just an inconvenience.

Its working my end too on android w/samsung browser & chrome. I use folders VERY often as i mix & move recipes around a lot based on steeping, complete, tested. Line ups for next mixes/versions, ADVs, pod recipes etc & i have folders for most specific profiles i vape too for when im recipe building/developing, think i have like 20 odd folders & over 1000 recipes my ocd would go into overdrive if i couldnt access my folders/move recipes around😅.
It must just be an iphone/safari/apple issue if SD is having the same problem with iphone browsers too? Does folders/moving work on a different/non-Apple device with your account?
I haven’t tried it to be honest, but there isn’t a device in this household that isn’t apple. Yeh it’s a big pain, I’m just not favouriting recipes now, instead having to creat folders on “My Recipes” instead. Hopefully that doesn’t stop working.
Hopefully something can be done about it. Luckily I’m still able to create folders in “My Recipes” so I’m just using that for my favourites at the moment.
Oh sorry, I totally missed that the problem was with folders on the ”My favorites” page, my mistake…
I haven’t ever “folder” on my favorites so I just created a folder and moved a recipe to it no problem on an iPhone here. So unfortunately I still can not help you.
Any of the coding on the calculator side is above my pay grade and not even sure if @Ken_O_Where has ability to access that issue.
But for now I would suggest you could probably adapt a recipe in your favorites and that would move it to “you’re recipes” page where you could then move it to a folder. Hope that’s helps for the time being and I apologize for any inconvenience you are experiencing
Hopefully that doesn’t stop working.
