What do you have an old G5 tower? If you do, then you’re right. You could but not for free and not worth the hassle. Your mac is 10+ years old if it’s G5. Borrow a Windows comp.
Yes it’s a G5 tower. In its day it was the best. But that was 10 years ago. And yeah that was plan B.
Still a great machine. Too bad IBM got out of the chip business. Those were great chips.
Oh yeah it’s a awesome pc. When i get my settlement money i will upgrade to a new mac pc.
Let me know if you need any tips. You might say I have a wee bit of experience with them.
Awesome and yes i will. Thank you
I thank god i got my new snow wolf 200 today. Got it for $66 to the door. And it really seems to be a good mod for the money. It will even run SS in temo mode. I was surprised it would do that.
If you don’t have to have the newest greatest mac, Apple Certified Refurbished is the way to go. Use the money you save to buy a copy of Windows and install it with Bootcamp. @Big_Benny_MI don’t you agree?
It’s a good option. I have access to discounts that can get a new mac down near the price of a refurb though and still have money for Windows. I do love Boot Camp though. Since you’re running Windows directly on the hardware with no emulator it’s just a Windows computer at that point.
Well when i get to that point we will figure that part out. Right now plan B. Go to a friend’s and get this thing configured the right way. And get a new sub tank. Thinking the TFV4
Yup, Plan B is now your Plan A.
Btw, when you retire that one, remember they make great tables. Friend of mine built this when he retired his.
Lol thats awesome looking. Recycled mac
He calls it functional art.
It as SS TC mode or does the Ni TC mode work with SS?
I can only comment on how my SWs run in TC. It shows it regulating but I’m fairly certain it’s not accurate. Sometimes it stop at dry coils and sometimes it won’t. I usually use wattage to assist TC like some TC mods do. But I must say you if you dial in your vape, it will deliver a good constant hit.
