im on two months now
well maybe a bit less than that actually
Donāt give up. Once you learn what to look for in a recipe things will start to fall into place. Look at a bunch of simple recipes and see what others do. Look at the flavors you have in the flavor list and youāll get a better idea of the percentages to use them at.
Hereās my advice when a newbie is having problems. Start with single flavors and start low for tpa flavors try starting at about 8%. Now this isnāt prob going to produce stellar vape but itāll be vapable. If even after doing that it still tastes bad than ya gota start the process of elimination to see whats going wrong. It might be your nic so try a batch with 0 nic and see if that helps. Also as others have said shake your vape once you think you shook enough shake another min. If the 0 nic still tastes bad than might be bad vg/pg. Another thing i do kinda often is not rinse my equipment well enough even the slightest soap residue will funk up a batch. Just my 2 cents
ive been trying! lol but thanks everyone i do have to go to bed though i have work in the am i will be back on soon with results ā¦hopefully good ones
Your first batches should be steeped, if they are unavailable you can add flavor by drops, you might not have a repeatable recipe that way but you can get an idea and make the bland vapeable. each drop is about 0.02 grams if your good with your math you can calculate for your next attempt.
yeah i i know my nic is bad so then i thought it was my vg so today i just vaped my vg and it seemed fineā¦ maybe all 15 flavors i have are bad idk
yeah i got a few two week old bottles all awful lol
Good luck on your mixing, donāt give up. I have to sleep but keep on vapin
Dizz. Iām see a lot of great feedback. Stick with it. My first mixes were horrible. Even on recipies others were raving about.
What I did. Followed advice. Shake shake shake. Shake your flavors. Missing one good Shake messes up your mix. Shake just before measuring out each flavor.
Second. I moved away from the couple recpies that were not working. Tried new ones. Then just like a flower things started to open up when the sun come new out. So far there is a lot of good advice already. Re-read your tip here from the thread. Check out and reading the beginners guide. You will get there I promise.
your ahead of the game my friend , if your investment is 100 dollars , thats 4 bottles of juice at a store , with what you have now your money will pay for itself this is not an instant gratifying hobby , time time and more time is whsat you will have to put into , btw this sight has so many recipes that will blow away the commercial juices , but you cant change someones recipe and expect it to come out the same not even with the same flaves but from diff manufactures , 30 % flavoring is high , IMO , i try to keep it15 and below , try to do things simple first , two to three flavor recipes when creating your own at first , and remember steep the juice even when someone calls for a shake and vape i still steep it , it can only get better , tfa IMO has its flaves that are must needs but you need to spread the money aroud to diff manufacturers , shake that nicotine well especially the vg base and try nicselect , lb american nic is a little harsh , good luck it will come ive been at this for a year and still am asking daily questions
I suggest you get some creams to work with. They work miracles in juices. Look at some recipes that look good to you and get those flavours in your stash. Youād be surprised what a little cream, caramel or custard can do to a simple fruit mix.
Before you quitā¦try getting rid of the PG altogether, go max VG and cut your VG with 4% Distilled Water and add 1% Expensive Vodka.
Heat your mix after you added your flavors to burn the alcohol out of the mix for less than an hour and let the mix sit for at least 3 days.
I was ready to give up too until I did that. Use only 5 Star recipes on this on this site that have at least 10 people who have reviewed them over 4 star.
thanks for all the help everyone! this community is amazing! you have talked me off the ledge lolā¦ bobby from LB called me him self and is sending me a bottle of nicselect (great guy) and i will order some flavors so i can make some 5 star flavors from this site. probably going to take about a week tho unfortunately so the venders are gonna to get a few more dollars of mine for the time being. im going to take all this advice and be making great juice soon!
and we will all be waiting , watching and willing to help good luck
Iām gonna but in here and offer a link to Nicotine River. I like their nicotine, itās Nic select it is very smooth, mixes well and doesnāt leave that harsh burn in your throat. I had that problem with Nude Armor and itās supposed to be really great. I think there is a little to each his own when it comes to nic, VG, and PG. I also get them at Nic River. The people are super to work with they will bend over backwards to help you out.
I was told and it seems to be true so far as I can tell. The best recipes have multiple brands in them. Most of mine are primarily TPA and Capella, but I am slowly getting more and more Flavorah and Flavor Art flavors to my newer recipes. I have a fairly new one that I sent to a good friend of mine and him and his girl friend both went nuts over it. Itās got a few flavors in it but if youād like to give it a whirl Iāll pm the recipe to you.
im going to try the LB nicselect that will be sent out to me for free but if thats still bad i will try nicotine riverā¦and yes send me the recipe cant hurt ill check it outā¦thanks!
