Received my BCF order a few days ago. I was about to mix some new flavors when I realized I ordered PG instead of VG. Big oops.
I called some vape shops near me, but they either didn’t have it, or were charging outrageous prices, so they weren’t an option.
So next I decided to give Sprouts Farmers Market a call. They had Now Solutions brand of VG. Not nearly as economical as BCF, but I needed some ASAP.
I’ll be sure to keep you guys (and gals) updated. Wish me luck!
Edit
Now Solutions VG seems to be top notch. 120 ml for $11.70 is not as economical as some of the online stores, but at least I know where to get some when I’m in a bind.
Just made a delicious Key Lime Pie recipe, and it’s virtually a shake ‘n vape. I’ll make a second batch later today and let it steep.
You can get VG at any pharmacy, too. At least enough to hold you over until your affordable order arrives. And it will be pharmaceutical grade of course.
I was thinking about that too, but opted for Sprouts Market, since they deal with Organic or All-natural products only, and it’s also on my way home from work. Whole Foods Market is another option.
BCF has the best selection of DIY items, but the shipping costs are killing me.
Any other suggestions for DIY places? I’ve read here that Amazon has a good selection of quality VG, and there’s free shipping if the cost is over $35.
I wonder what the soy-based VG is like? It certainly is more affordable than palm-based. Next time I order some VG I’ll go through them. Meanwhile I’ll find some alternative sources for flavorings. For some reason BCF jacked-up their shipping prices.
Palm based has always been my preference, and should be a little sweeter than the Soy based. I did test some Soy based from Delosi, and it was the THICKEST VG I have ever used.
Iv bought direct and through amazon. Usually depending on the best price at the time or how fast i need it.cant be prime next day . yea if i get more thwn a gallon usually direct.
I never saw Tech Grade before and I know K is for Kosher. Looks like most people buy Food Grade Palm. Would that be considered pharma grade, as well? I thought pharma grade was better than food grade.
@muth for the purposes of this post, IS, has two 99.7% choices, Soy, and Palm. The Food, Tech, and Organic are only available in 50 lb. pails, or 551 lb. drums.
Yea it comes to 40 on both amazon and direct to me. I use to buy the 6 gallon at a time back in the day when i sold juice. I only ordered the drum once and it was honestly a big pain in the ass
