I’ve been there…welcome back! Knowing what’s going on gives you a better handle on things so we hope to see you around more often. Sometimes I head over to the Jokes, Memes and Riddles thread to give myself a boost. Best medicine in the world
@Oldguynew2diy I understand you, I’ve been there many times too. Resurrection is a slow and painful journey, but it’s possible and, in the best of cases, permanent; at least I hope that’s the case for you.
For some of us, life is a battle we face every day, but perhaps this difficulty allows us, or will allow us, to see beyond appearances.
Hang in there; a big hug!
Welcome back. I’ve been struggling for the past year plus with it. The right medication can help if you want it. The biggest thing that’s help me was joining the gym. I’ve been 5 days a week since I joined and I haven’t felt this good mentally (or physically) in this past year. It’s amazing how something so little can help so much. Feel better soon. Depression and anxiety can be a bitch.
That’s the bitch about depression. Seems to be no rhyme or reason behind it (but apparently there is). Takes a good healthcare provider to help you find it. For me it was like flat lining, no joy, no sadness, no appetite. I was a smoker and I didn’t even care if I smoked or not. Shortly after being on medication (homeopathic) I got pissed about something and I felt my energy come back. She said that some people are like that. Anger is an emotion a step above nothingness (depression) so it can help boost you out of it. Maybe I had suppressed anger for so long I became apathetic, Idk. This is just my personal example. As she explained, she doesn’t prescribe the same medication to everyone because we’re all different mentally and physically. I’m glad you’re having improvement and hope you find your balance and get your mojo back.
