Anyone else having an issue with Imgur? All of a sudden, when I try posting a photo to link on my ELR recipes, it’s coming up “User Banned”. I only post photos for recipes, and I’ve not received any warning emails or messages. I did reach out to support finally after my 4th time trying.
Unless I hear back and get this settled, no more photos for me on ELR. My last one was for this current competition.

Is this while you’re trying to upload (to Imgur)? Would a banned user be able to get that far?

That looks more like a glitch in the matrix. I’ll have to give a try myself this evening (after I try that recipe 
)

The calculator only accepts image URL’s from imgur?

Yes, and you need to make sure you have the link that ends with jpeg.

The KEY with the images is the exact syntax. The key is …

On imgur just select BBcode and remove the tags

Yes, it seems the key is, how Lars has the recipe side coded, and as long as it’s the i.imgr.com image, those parse, and are loaded.

@Lynda_Marie says you were “banned”, which make me assume you registered on IMGUR ? I never have, and just upload and use. Maybe try without logging.

So I heard back from them…
Someone, I forget who, told me when I first started on ELR it had to have the JPEG in the name. That’s where I got that from… anyways, here’s what they said

Maybe “rapid firing”? I only posted things for recipes. I wasn’t using tags either so maybe they looked spammy? I never posted links. Id literally upload the picture with an appropriate name and copy link.
