Is Element Vape site bugged?

Trying to add stuff to the Element Vape cart, and all I get is “Something went wrong”. Anyone else having trouble there?

I’ve run into that occasionally, seems they have issues when updating product on their site.

It’s because of others on the site…, better loading issues during the early A.M.

I found the problem, it seems they are no longer shipping to Canada. No Canada on the list. They didn’t even notify me, just wow. If i lived in Malawi, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and a bunch of countries I’ve never heard of, would be no problem?

WTF?

Ok, got a response from them. Turns out the temporarily halted shipments to Canada because of the Canada Post Strike…which is over now. At least its not permanently. Nice.

The Canada Post strike is not over. A national strike that began on September 25, 2025, was suspended on October 10, 2025, and replaced with rotating strike actions. These rotating strikes continue as of November 15, 2025, with service disruptions and uncertainty persisting

@warkwarth I’ve not been keeping a close eye on it, but didn’t they just come off of another strike ?

They were mandated back to work last year, close to XMas. Negotiations ongoing, but the union demands were outrageous. IIRC mid September the feds told CP they could close some old postal buildings and move all homes to superboxes (community mailboxes. There may be 10 homes at my superbox. From my front door I can see 2 superboxes) and no more door to door delivery, which is ~25% of homes. The next day the workers went back on strike. Blah blah blah, they’re now on rotating strikes.

I figure the Union lost so much money from last year, they need their dues coming in to prop up the workers. I say let them strike until the union is bankrupt or privatize CP.

All my bills are digital. My bank has secure messaging. The feds have direct deposits. I really only need CP for Christmas cards and parcels. :canada:

Yeah its not affecting me that much either, except for Element Vape hehe. That’s okay, I’ll just go on a huge spree when things settle down

Ya know, I’ve NEVER had a delivery issue with CP and my postal guy is very pleasant. I did call in once, only to get the superbox area shovelled out when there was a 3 foot wall of snow blocking it in. That was fixed about 2 hours later.

CBSA is a different story (duties/tarrifs/exise taxes) They took a $322 USD package, converted that to CDN, then charged 50% tarriff. Then tax of 13% and $10 CP handling. Here’s the kicker … it shoulda been tariff free as it is part of USMCA I put in my appeal in September, left 2 voicemails and all I get is crickets.

That one really hurts. Hope it gets resolved in your favour.
